I was talking to my friend earlier on and found out that he is one of those guys who like to stand and watch pple play. hehe.

Think he is quite keen on learning the game, especially after seeing someone play Lei Fei.

However, the problem is that he doesn't dare to even play at Bugis cos' level a little too high for him. Guess the same applies to most other pple who watch but don't play. What a pity.

BTW, any guys play at the Yishun Funland?

 

Well, actually, there are places here and there that one can try their skills on. Its kinda like an evolution stage for me, since sometimes, when I'm trying to learn a new character, I'll just move around.

In the afternoon, Orchard Point always have some working people who would play during the lunch hours. The standard there is pretty okay for new players to the game. Bugis and Parklane has a decent mix of players who are starting out, who pretty much know what they're doing, and some players who are just plain scary.

Hope that this is kinda like a guide for learning players. One thing good is that there are more and more players who bought a PS2, and are trying out their hand at the game appearing every now and then, so one can hope that the size of the player population would increase.... /versus/images/icons/laugh.gif

Are these players the sporty kind? If they don't play after losing a few rounds, then no pt going down.

 

That I can't say.... /versus/images/icons/frown.gif the people who play at Orchard Point are normally pretty sporting, so long as they're don't feel that they're outclassed tremendously. Of course, no sane person who's starting out in the game would pick a fight with a veteran... Like I said, great place to play if you're starting out, but pointless if you're already experienced in the game.

Parklane depends... Some players will stop, some will keep on coming. Depends on your luck I guess.... Bugis is probably your safest bet, though the sticks and controls seem to be acting up again. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif

The sticks at the Parklane arcade are even worse than the ones at Bugis! Much worse! That Lan-O shop is still the best place outside of people's homes...

Most of the VF guys I know are attached, so they r probably going with their gfs. /versus/images/icons/frown.gif Unless, they happen to be bachelors or unattached, I don't think can expect to see many pple out playing VF.

As for me, think may go down to Bugis Junction. Or else, u will see me hospitalised for extreme boredism.
