If there's too many people, Cine might be a good choice.

Btw does anyone know if they have the same service at Cathay?

I can bring my VSHG too.

Would like to join as well!

What kind of store is Big-O though? Gameshop? LAN center?

Not sure where Park Lane is either... anyone mind guiding me there?

So we're going Cineleisure today for sure.

I'll be there at bout 6.30pm as I knock off at 6, who else is up for it?

630pm at Cineleisure ground floor near Famous Amos.

Its $10 per hour plus it a requirement to pay $5.00 for 2 controllers so all who turns up be prepared to share the cost.

    My fellow SGvfers,

    'Dear Mr Koo

Many thanks for your email & feedback. We do apologise for the manner
    in
which this was handled. Kindly be rest assured that the staff has been
cautioned by the senior manager incharge.

E2Max encourages patrons to use the inhouse paraphernalia as sometimes,
those which patrons bring in may not be compatible with our equipment.
Nevertheless, we do review requests of using own peripherals on a case
    to
case basis as we do understand that patrons may be more comfortable
    using
    their own.

We are sorry that there were extra charges imposed and would like to
    refund
the amount of $5 to you. You may collect this amount anytime from the
manager on duty at E2Max @ Cine-L9. If convenient, do let us know when
    you
    will be visiting.

    best regards
    jennifer

    Dear Management of cineleisure,

Firstly I would like to comment that the facilities at
cineleisure are excellent. The huge LCD tv and PS3
configuration in a private room is one of the kind.

Unfortunately, the level of service to go with it is
    seriously mismatched.

A group of us(5) were there last Sunday at 615pm to
book one of the rooms for our use. When prompted by
your service staff the number of joy pads need for the
PS3, we happily replied none, as we brought our own
joysticks. Your service staff commended that he has
checked with his manager and we are not allowed to use
    our own joysticks.

Affer dinner, we came back and booked a room for 2
hours again. This time round, your service staff
conveniently billed us an extra $5 for joypads without
enquiring with us. Obviously when the bill was $5 more
than the previous booking, we asked to remove the
joypads as we are not using it at all. Your service
staff shot us a unhappy face and feeling pissed
myself, I told him not to bother and to leave it as it
    is.

This is a video game industry and its not managed like
'outside food not allowed' style. Do you force or
patrons to play with a joypad when its a shooting
game? If your patron brought their own steering wheels
with brakes and pedal, do you still force them to use
a joypad? This is an obvious case of your service team
having no product knowledge of the PS3 at all and your
patrons like us will be happy to go somewhere else.
Your service team needs to go for a customer service
    course too.

I would also be happy to write to the forum or CASE to
warn all other patrons about the 'restrictions' and
    service at your venue.

    Regards,

    Danny Koo'
