you guys should of read the issue of EDGE with sega in front, there were interviews and insights into sega japan and surope and key develpoers. They asked would there be a future shenmue 3 and suzuki said in other words they could not consider it at this moment as the first 2 games cost a bomb especially 1 and seeing that they have only just recently begun to earn a profit and not at a loss for a change, it wouldnt be a wise choice to start developing the 3rd and final instalment till they were completely out of the red. Im just typing what ive remembered so i could be wrong, ill look for the article and re-write it again if im wrong
