1. Hey Guest, looking for Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown content? Rest assured that the game is identical to Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown so all current resources on here such as Command Lists with frame data, Combo Lists and the Wiki still apply. However, you can expect some VF5US specific changes to come soon!

Yeah, they nod and wink, then take a huge dump on the fans' hopes. Go screw yourselves Sega. It's good that Vanilla 5 is still here.

Anyway, recently I started saying that Virtua Fighter is a Capcom game. In this imaginary scenario I actually like the developer xD

I gotta be honest. Even if Sega would release FS for consoles, it wouldn't change anything in my approach to them. My answer would be:

"About fucking time!" just like with Duke Nukem Forever. Afterwads I'd say: "I still hate you Sega, go fuck a blue hedgehog."

No hate intended, just an opinion xD

Not another mother Fing sonic game. I hope they didn't let sonic team and their crappy hands touch the game design.

Actually tbh I think this new sonic game looks promising.

Of course it does, because we are still in the first stage of the Sonic cycle. By the time we hit stage three, it will be universally agreed that the game is shit.

do u guys think there will ever be another VF game for gamers outside of Japan as in for consoles and/or portable systems and not just arcades. It doesn't have to be VF5:FS, it could be (hypothetically) VF6, and it doesn't have to be on a current gen system, could be the next xbox or playstation. I actually heard that Beyond Good and Evil 2 will be made for the NEXT gen systems which is a ways off. I'll wait for however long it takes for a VF game of any kind whether it's a port or a new installment to come out. It's not like there is (to my knowledge) problems among employees/employers within the company or financial issues. Remember that Itagaki (If I spelled it correctly) had issues with Tecmo and left and DOA still cameback, now I've heard in another thread on this site that Bloody Roar MAY come back despite Hudson Soft going out of business if I've read the posts correctly.

    Also one more question:
Do u think in the eventual future, unless Sega starts listening to fans, that VF's rights could be sold and brought back?

2 more years for next generation consoles, and most likely VF6 will come out with them(If VF6 has home version).

I don't know how long will it take between announcement and official release date, but we still have our last chance on coming TGS. Yes, we have done the same thing for past 3 years and this time is our last hope. If SEGA doesn't want to extend the life of VF then they will never make console version on current xbox360 and PS3.

I wish SEGA is going to bankrupt ASAP and CAPCOM can take over it.

as a sonic fan, i still hope sonic games (whether bad, or at least decent) would still get made if this scenario were to happen.

CAPCOM is good for packing and promoting games. A lot of SF4 fans now are playing AE [IMG]

Personally, I don't think FS will change the way I play VF, but it's still a new version and people would pay more attention to this game. More and more players might involved with VF and hopefully SEGA can get some profit and make good decision in the future.

I've never played a Virtua Fighter, yet I'm interested in either FS or R. There's bound to be more people like me who would get involved like you say.

Supporting garbage is still better than doing nothing. [IMG] Unfortunately, SEGA is the latter one. I never think SF4 is a good game since day1, but I admire how CAPCOM advertised this entire series and fully support behind of their fans!!

Sometimes I wish I should never have a chance to play VF, but sometimes I'm glad I've touched this amazing game.

    TGS is on September.
SEGA can announce it and then do quick release if they want. Late this year or early next year both are fine.
