exactly GameOver ive been saying the same thing. i just couldnt stand waiting for more games to come out for the PS3. i think when game developers find out how to take advantage of the PS3's technology well see some pretty amazing games. for right now though i can wait till theres more games for the PS3 before i own one again.

for right now as a gamer(for me anyway)its the 360. if i had a better computer it would probably be my PC. when it comes to gaming im mainly a console gamer. i am however getting more into games on the PC since most of my friends do there online gaming on the computer. the couple of experiences ive had playing games on the PC have been really fun.

so for the time being if it comes down to which console has the better games. for right now its the 360 and for the future its the PS3. i just dont like how long its taking for the PS3 to get those games.

How do you feel about the PS3's game library 420? I think that's what everyone really wants to know.

well to tell you the truth i think it stinks right now. i wish PS3 owners had more of a selection of games to play. i myself got tired of waiting and decided it was better to own a PS3 when more games are released for it. the straw that broke the camels back for me is when i found out VF5 on the 360 was going to have improvements over the PS3 version.

i was pissed. it was yet another game made for both consoles that would be better on the 360. one of the main reasons i bought the PS3 was because i thought VF5 was a PS3 exclusive. not only is VF5 on the 360 version c but now you can bring your profile to other 360's. the other thing ive been waiting for is being able to listen to my own custom soundtrack.

yes im a stoner and stoners love their music. im am so sick of hearing the background music in VF5. its so damn generic and cheesy.

    Sega knows people want it.

Hopefully they will pony up and release a damn patch for the PS3 version.

It could happen after the 360's release.

Dudes lets just rejoice in the fact that VF5 definitely is online on 360, and If thats possible, then online PS3 VF5 is possible. Lets just celebrate that.
AND YOU ALL need to follow SHAGS advice during the last 420 meltdown: just put the fucktard on ignore, by looking at his profile and clicking it. I did. So you know what this thread looks like to me? ONE guy providng some useful and promising new info, and the REST OF you assholes responding to 420 instead of doing some insightful speculation, and maybe some digging and research. Yelling at 420 for making dumbass posts is like yelling at a special needs kid for tripping and faceplanting at the special olympics. Its more than just weed, his problems are innate. GET BACK on the damn subject. This possible patch news is great: I may not have to butcher my VSHG after all. In light of this possible turn of events ill likely just mod my Hori stick instead.

Gives me hope. Hell, I'd be willing to spend $10 for the patch/add-on. $20-$30 if they can make the add-on give us everything the 360 version has.

At least that way, they don't need us to "raise our voices" for them to see that fans want the update. All they need to see is $$$. That'll be enough inspiration for them methinks. =P

"In the case of PlayStation 3, our first priority was to convert Virtua Fighter 5 from the arcade onto [the PS3] as soon as possible," he told the site. "To achieve that purpose we had to give up the development of the online mode -- we'd love to try if there was time and the budget but unfortunately, we had to give up on that idea. AM2 are sorry to PS3 users -- a lot of people say that it is one of the missing things from the version."

without reading the actual article before reading the replies here, i was under the impression that am2 gave some hope that a patch might be coming, but....where is that hope?? AM2 are pretty much saying they are not doing it. you can read it clearly in that paragraph (no money or time). that last line saying "if gamers shout loud enough..." was said by the editor of that article, not sega. maybe im not reading it right, but wheres the hope you guys talking about?

    im confused.

My view on it is when he said "we had to give up on the idea" and spoke on the time and budget, he was referring to sacrifices caused by the quick deadline Sony wanted. It doesn't mean it isn't something they still may do.

The most positive factor is that The AM2 rep was paraphrased before that quote stating that an online patch was "DEFINITELY POSSIBLE" and if they were working on online mode originally the groundwork for the mode may still already be in place. Plus they acknowleged that a lot of Ps3 players wanted online.

I for one find it very interesting and telling that this article was posted ON THE SAME DAY Namco released the TEkken 5dr online patch. Given the Namco Sega rivalry, draw your own conclusions. IM more interested in the possibility of a possible TEkken Vs VF game that namco implied as possible months ago, that would DEFINITELY be PS3 exclusive , and it would blow a LAGGY VF5 online mode out of the water.
    LIke a Fighters Megamix 2!
That said, we wont see any kind of VF5 Ps3 patch until VF5 on 360 is realesed. So Sega can get maximum exploitation...... er, I mean profit, over VF fans.

good one a giant bleeding vagina. does that mean your going to lick me then since you eat you girl out when shes on her rag. i heard you like it when she farts on your tongue. come on people quit calling me out. obviously what im saying is true because you guys are getting so upset about what ive posted. get over it. youve got to play VF5 for a year now.

exactly GoDokunoDan thats what i posted. this way sega can sell VF fans another copy of VF5. not only that but do you people actually think this patch for the PS3 will be free? sega is going to try to make as much money as they can off of VF5. since the post came from you GoDokunoDan and not me no ones mad. stupid.

Boys(and girlz?),don't hope for a PS3 patch,Sega is not going to work for free you know, they will probably sell it like a new game.But...you know VF5 is not Tekken5DR in terms of popularity,I wonder if the game even sold more than 150-200k on the PS3 (does anyone know?),so then, why Sega would spend money in that game when they can spend it in making another game(another Sonic or PSO crap)?
