San Diego Virtua Fighter Competition!

sorry for disappointing this week. If everybody else is down next Sunday, I can definitely host then. I got the new Hori stick and game guide for myself, and a used copy of the game to my friend who's oldschool VF. Next week he and a few others (who said they'd be willing to try) said they'd be down.

 

Next Sunday sounds cool. Expect me to be there around 5-6ish as I'm working. I will not deprive myself of the chance to increase my power!!!!!

 

I'll be there Sunday Paul -- I have work until 1 or so. Is 2 ok?

Also, Aaron is coming by for more VF tomorrow night (Tuesday) -- Sebo and Paul, you guys are both welcome if you want to get some evening gaming in.

 

Sweet! I can most definitely do later afternoon. I have to be @ my parents' until 2. Maybe 3-3:30 would be better?

With the new Fighting Stick 3, I'm going to leave the ps3 on each night in an effort to get all the items with the characters each guests uses. Last night I got 680 wins with Aoi, yeah baby yeah! /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

 

I don't know for sure, he's coming over tomorrow for games (I think) -- I'll get him to confirm then.

 

Regarding tomorrow, I can't make it...sorry. I work until 11...

 

I'll be up in Costa Mesa, at my parent's house that weekend. If you guys want to carpool again, I'm down! I'll be at the event either way.

 

More VF at my place tonight -- Aaron is coming by @ 6:45. Also, he confirmed that he'll be going to Paul's on Sunday. I'll bring a 2nd set up and my aquos.

None of you guys probably remember me I stepped out of the scene a long time ago.

Anyway, I jumped back on the forums since I saw VF5 at Mission Valley mall. Although I haven't played VF in years I figured I would still stay loyal and let you guys know about it.

It appears though MarkMan (Damn Mark your everywhere. SRK, VFDC, SDT. haha) already told you guys about it.

I'll just re-elaborate on it in hopes that maybe the VF scene in SD can grow a little and have a place to meet.

As MarkMan stated its placed on a House of the Dead 4 monitor. When I first played it the buttons were perfect and the sticks were good just really loose.

It's 50 cents a game.

Nobody plays it. So I'm hoping people will start heading out before it's to late and they move the machine. =[

Dear SD crew:

I know you guys probably have jobs like all of us. But you should consider a few things.

#1 Try to get up here some time today or tommorrow or hell anytime Itazan and Yosuke are still here, it's worth experience. SO many people here.

#2 I HIGHLY suggest you try out the arcade available to you. Having a cabinet (though 50 cents may sound steep) available means setting up gatherings is very easy and people who don't have a PS3 have a fighting chance to get better. It's a universal version for everyone. I wish we had that up here.
