Can i get in on this too? I'm a long time Tekken player looking for some VF versus experience.

It's nice to see other peeps in SD in the same boat.

BTW, MarkMan, nice seeing you on this board. Watching you SDTekken guys were instrumental in the transition from Tag to Tekken5 for me and my amigos.

Right now, I'm putting in some practice on Evolution. But little good that does since i'm really interested in playing the two new characters in VF5.

But right now, I'm really just interested in seeing some good VF matches.

VF4 EVO's tutorial mode is where it's at though... it's a good way to get a sense of the VF system...

yeah, but I'm pretty sure we've only met once face to face and that was a long long time ago.

I'm mostly familiar with you because of your King posts from the Zaibatsu board.

But yeah, do you know much about the two new players? I've heard that El Blaze is fast and has an interesting running throw system. but I've heard very little about the new girl.

Where do you guys play in SD? I'm going to be down in Oceanside for the summer, doubt I could make the Riverside drives, and am curious.

 

I wouldn't mind learning some VF5 with the SDTekken crew (plus gain more DR experience) if you guys hold training sessions or whatnot...

In return, I'm willing to play people in the 2D games to help them get better...

Do any of you guys live in the Mission Valley area? I get home from work around 10-11 every night. My setup is on a 42" plasma, and my roommate plays casually. I'd like to get back semi-seriously into the game.

hey solfizz i kinda play vf5 along with a few other guys although its like a once a week ordeal. Im on spring break right now so maybe we can get some games in this week? I wanna play the game a bit more.

First time I got to play since the game came out... good fun...

Starting next Sunday, I am considering opening my place up for VF5 meets. I don't have any joysticks, but I do have a 42" plasma setup so the picture and sound is really nice.

I have a few close friends who play more casually and can forsee them getting more involved if others join in.

Anyone who is interested in weekly to biweekly meets please let me know here so I can get an idea of optimal time and execution.

From what I understand some of you are further north. I understand if that's too far away, and I'm willing to make the drive wherever gatherings are held to get any versus play. Just let me know when and where!
