little wild west action for your Friday. seems insane to me that, with a Police dog ready to go, 6 cops all showed the same lack of intelligence and opened fire.

 

Yeah > i never really understood how Police procudres say ' if one of you guys fires, then you all have to fire together like a marching band' ... i mean like the guy in NY > you mean they couldnt just shoot his legs twice or 3 times .. instead of a dozen

 

The only crazy thing about the NYC thing was the number of shots fired. Legs and limbs are a lot smaller. Imagine what would happen if they missed a leg and killed a kid?

 

Don't we have tazers and many many many other non-lethal tools for this kinda stuff? Does it really take 4 officers with guns to take down one guy with a knife?

 

NYC police officers do not carry tazers. He was told to put down the knife, pepper sprayed and resisted arrested. Listen, your not gunna peg me as a fan of the police in most cases, but this dude did himself no favors.

 

Agreed, when the cops tell you to do something, you do it. Yet, I still don't see a reason for 30 shots from four officers against a man with a knife...

 

Hey, remember when they threatened him with a dog? what happened there? whenever you have a non-lethal option and you deliberately and repeatedly pursue a lethal option you've lost me.
