Quest Mode Insights & Balloon Trick

Cool. I thought it had to be over the arcade you wanted to fight in. Of course I no longer need the ballon trick. I just need to beat every rival which is taking forever. Why did they have to put so many freaking rivals? There are too many!

 

I'm working on a complete rivals list as well, with Name, Rank, Player and Emblems. I've got the first arcade done and most of the special ranked ones. I'll post them up when they're done.

 

Now I know what the BalloonTrick is. And Ash Kaiser, your Vane looks really cute.

 

way to many opponents, i think its 1,000 in total, considering when i beat someone the defeated rival % goes up one tenth of a point
but on normal, you can defeat opponentfrom 9 kyu to sixth dan with just /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif, which makes going through the lower ranks alot faster, but its tedious as hell, and playing the game a chore, so i dont recomend it( but you well never lose doin' that, seriously, you could do it with your eyes close, read a book while pressing/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif or whatever, but you will never lose, ever,)
there one perk to getting 100% other than acheivement points however:
999 999 Gold in Quest from the start!
Get a 100% rating with one character in Quest. Then hold LB pressed on the Quest Info screen when you press A to continue.

I would like to have so much gold for Sarah and Vane.
Gathering gold when you start Quest Mode is annoying as hell.
But however, I decided to focus on one character: Brad.

 

Yeah. I want the gold to be able to setup Wolf and somebody else most likely.

 

The 999,999 gold trick does work. After you get 100% of everything on Quest, a screen will come up actually telling you how to do it.

It cuts down on a lot of time getting money for the shop. That was easily the most tedious part of Quest for me.

 

What? The input for the 999.999 gold is included in the VF5 ending sequence? That's cool. And after you did the input, every character you've created gets the money or just new characters you create?

 

It is not in an ending sequence. You just have to clearthe entire quest mode with 100% and then you can use the LB button when you setup another character profile and start with 999,999 gold.

 

Confusing. LB button? Is that XBOX specific?

I am currently at 99.4% on items. What am I missing? I still have emblems to collect but I purchased every item in the shop and I have not had an item battle in forever. All I am doing now is trying to beat alll the rivals. Does anybody know how I can gett 100% on the items? Is there a tournament I need to beat or something? I am not even doing the tournaments anymore because they have all been money ones so I stopped even checking them out. Maybe I need to check them out and see if any give an item. I wish they were not random because it could take forever before I get one with an item.

 

You'll probably have done all the item tourneys. Try for the Item Balloon trick and hopefully one of them will have the last item.

 

Have you ranked all the way up? There are items presented for certain rank awards. If you have ranked all the way up, I'd go with the balloon trick advice.

Ok. I ranked up to Conqueror and got the final item. It was blonde hair for Pai. WTF? They made that the last item? I figured it would have been like a halo or some demon wings. LOL! Oh well now I just need about 36% more to go for the rivals.
