GG's to ezxety, Black General, Nightshade, Relachi, Animelord, Drift( good kage), and finally Elite. < Your kage is too solid and you know jacky too well. i literally throw out random BS to hit you sometimes. i shouldve took my time more cuz kage has alot of mix ups. if i press a button im screwed.

GGS to Zekiel and MFB. I need to lay off the Final Fantasy 12 and play VF more.

 

You can never play too much FF12, fantastic game. GG and thanks for putting up with my spammy Vanessa, I might make her my secondary character. I never realized how much fun she was and the 2 stance thing doesn't hinder me like I thought it would.

 

lol what is it with Sarah players and wanting to drop her? I can't really talk because Akira is OP but even if he was ass I'd main him. Do y'all not like Sarah?

 

I like Sarah a lot since she's so much fun to use, but it gets really frustrating when you need to work your ass off to get good damage and then your opponent does more damage with a simple combo, or a simple flip kick from Jacky. The reason most Sarah players are looking into other characters is because she's just not that good in the FS system which rewards big damage combos. Something she doesn't have outside of wall combos.

 

Really? I usually have trouble fighting against Sarah because her attacks seem to be very fast and safe while the combos are quite strong. It always feels like she is kicking me like ten times in the air and cause 40% or more dmg to my health...

 

Cha-mame3 would have words with you.

 

Cha-Mame thinks Sarah isn't particularly strong in FS
( or "Sarah isn't very good in FS" to quote his convo with Kamais from a while back), which I agree with, as her damage output just isn't very good. Cha-Mamae3 is just 3 or 4 times better than most players so it doesn't matter that much. And no Jinks Sarah isn't fast, her lows are really slow, and they didn't even give her 11 frame jabs. Removing throws from her flamingo and adding them to a launch prone "step" is idiotic and weakens her further. Slide and Step = free launches. She is better offline, but she's not the same kinda bullshit the top 5 are, and no real point in non Sarah players trying to debate this. She isn't the worst, but she's not a strong character in FS, damage is too low, mixups are very limited, and opponents can get free launchers from her two "new" stances. I can get easier wins with Jacky (who can't), after only about a half of day of using him, since his damage and options are both much better.

GG's Shadow, was fun getting to work on some Pai stuff. Obviously still have to work on the myriad of combos and setups she has, but was nice to see whats what with her as far as online goes. She can get away with a lot of stuff online

 

I was talking more about the point of Sarah not getting much damage from her moves - I was in a room with Cha-mame3, DomAug and his friends, and we were commenting that she seems to get combos off of everything. You're probably right about the fact that Cha-mame's skill make Sarah seem better/less bad than she is. Kage is supposedly a low-tier character, but you watch Koenraku and Exzety play and you wouldn't think it true.

Also, GGs today, to Hanwiz (thanks for the promotion), Jinks (sorry to bail after only a couple of fights - you caught me near the end of my session), and that Tigerclaw whose name I forget (had two 'J's in it somewhere).

 

that tigerclaw is hades jr. and yea ezxety and koenraku kage's aere in there own league. Theyve mastered him completely. They utilize his mix ups very well which is kage's strong point. yea sarah's combo's are garbage. reaching 80dmg with her is hard lol. let alone 90 to 100. with jacky 90 dmg is a breeze.

 

Kage is low tier because of his damage as well, Elite is very very good with him, but Kage has to work for the damage, and isn't the easiest character to use execution wise.

Sarah does get combo opportunities, but they are a pretty small from a damage standpoint. Some of her BnB combos do less than Jacky's 14frame CH Kickflip, all of them do less than Akira's 17 frame CH bodycheck. Sarah is stronger vs the lighter weight characters tho, where she has some slightly more damaging combo options. If her damage was higher she'd likely be in the upper tiers because of the combo opportunities you guys pointed out.

 

It could be rikojjang0. His Akira is scary. More so than Hades.

 

That was the one, Rikojjang0. He mashed me with Lau, then he switched to Jacky... and mashed me with him too. That guy has some serious skills, maybe even more so than Cha-mame3.

Genzen, I remember I had a good comeback win in our first match.
Hanwiz, his Pai and my Goh matches were fun.
Generalripper, your long distance game is probably the only thing in vf that pisses me off. I almost threw my controller. lol

GGs to archduke alstein, u threw me out of the ring twice it pissed me off, i wanted to tell you, it s a good strategy to win a round, but that won t make you stronger... thx to you now, i know how to play against a Jeff...
GGs to exzety, first match u took Jacky, (u underestimate me hehe i love it) 2nd match kage, and u kicked my ass... I hate kage, his mix up with low sweeps is just unfair...
I forgot another man 2 days ago we played, another kage of course.. Lezardo... i definetely have to find something against you...

 

I've spent most of my VF playtime dealing with Jacky's bullshit so that certainly helps lol. Good shit though, just work on your up close game and rely less on slide shuffle imo.
