Had several great matches with mfwebdude, darksoul173 (number may be wrong), hanwiz, and Alstein.

 

ggs generalripper. damn tricky kage man. also had some great matches with valakerie, valenzuela, jinks81, cloudstryfe, deiseldiaz, hanwiz, willynilly, eastbaykage, nammerai and a number of others.

kind of worried i've been annoying the hell out of people lately with my insistent rematching lol. win or lose, i like to fight an opponent a number of times to really get a feel for their style, and so they can adjust to mine. even if it means getting slaughtered by the likes of hades_j or aoiyuki (damn flawless akiras)

@ DarkSoul: those sets were pretty heated; playing your Lion just reminds me how trash my defense is... It's a good lesson though. I'm sure anyone that's played me before knows I've got cement shoes on. Keep the matches coming bro, I'll take you on anytime!

@ Generalripper: I've been noticing some habits in your Kage playstyle. For example, when you use Kage's front flip kick about 80% of the time you'll immediately do 2P afterwards as a frame trap since you have an ambiguous +1 advantage. That's a very dangerous habit to have since we've played a lot of matches by now. Looking forward to the next match though, keep it classy!

 

GGs to TaNooki, Wiseman, Zekiel, and Omnistalgic. Sorry for my horrible performances - I'm on a new T.V and the game looks weird, and I'm also quite out of practice, the combination of which leads to a lot of dropped combos and failed inputs.

GGs to everyone I ran into over the weekend. Some good matches, most of which I lost.

Shoutout to hopfrog. He's not the strongest player out there (Hunter I think...), I've played and beaten him plenty of times in the past. But, tonight, his Aoi was on point. Read just about every move, and punished accordingly. Frustratingly fun stuff...

 

Yeah I know, it's a terrible habit. It's damn near Pavlovian, and I usually don't even think about it. But occasionally it works out to my advantage when I do break that pattern and my opponent doesn't expect it.

 

we fought today. it was a little laggy because of 0 bar but still good game. your venessa is really skilled. i was in trouble.

 

gg's to truewiseman. your defense/knowledge of jacky is something special man. i couldn't force you to stick with you main, venessa. also gg's to jinks81, Genzen lonwoof, valakrie, superspace hero. I enjoyed myself.

 

Yeah man, GGs to you as well. Must be because of the distance or something cause on average I'll get 1 or 2 bars with the ppl in Worldwide. I still got a lot of catching up to do but I appreciate it.

GGS to everyone past few nights, really showed me how I'm not doing enough damage with my lion, and I need a boost in defense. still losing to spammy Jacky's or big combo characters like Akira/Wolf/Vanessa more often that I should. Time to level up, gotta check out Chibita for max. combo damage with lion, and I may try to learn Akira as well, he kinda fits with my safe poke playstyle.

Special shout-out to TrueWisemen though. I don't care who's the best online or the world, but it's just fun playing ur Vanessa. We have kinda similar styles where I like to confuse and overwhelm my opponent with safe pokes and really hard to read mixes of high/low/mids. I think my lion has developed largely from playing you so many times with those quick safe pokes and frame traps from Vanessa. Good tech, that I try to apply in my lion game...

 

yeat he's not really that good :/. All he does is use inashi techniques. his entire style revolves around her tenchi stance. yesterday i beat him, by spamming somersaut, throws and circulars so yea.

 

I agree, he's not the best out there. But, for the two games I played against him yesterday, he was psychic. Either way, he's always a fun opponent. And a good sport as well...

 

I agree. He's not a bad guy or anything, but I think that his play needs improving. I also think that he gets predictable with Aoi's light down attack reversal. I should learn if there's some special combos I can make off of a failed attempt.
