PSN Good Games

The JudyJetson person whoever they were amazed me the most that sarah surprised me there considering how the first match I had with him went. My van did better than I expected the stuff I am trying to do with her beginning to work slowly and steadily including the hit throws I can do them but they require me to think about when I should time them. The people I know always dodge the move that start it I have to learn to delay those hits better like Truewiseman does oh well.

 

I have no idea, I usually keep the rooms public so anyone can join, since there aren't a ton of people playing FS atm. It could have been him I guess ,but I dunno

 

I know Sanford personally and I'm 100% sure he is NOT playing VF. If he is then he must have just started, but I highly doubt it.

Came across a guy in ranked, name was something like Cannibal-Ox-77. Wasn't an amazing player, but was definitely a good sport. We started out on equal ranks, and it was clear that I was winning the majority of the games, but he continued to play me each time, to the point that he was demoted, and even after that, continued 'till I was promoted.

Props to the guy for showing sportsmanship - hopefully we get more people like that in the community.

 

GGs to Andrew_Pana today. I tried to select you on the selection screen, but every time I tried I couldn't connect with you. That's why I kept waiting for you to pick me. I would have played more with you if I didn't have to leave. You have a really nice Jacky.

The only other Jacky that has impressed me (off the top of my head) is Cha-mame3's, but he trolled me with constant elbows.

 

Just played someone in ranked called Truewiseman. He was a... Darkslayer, I want to say, but I'm not positive. It was one of those big flashy-coloured ones, anyway. managed to win more than I lost, but he was definitely a good player. Played Jeffry, and I think he'd have done better with more aggression, since I didn't feel as scared of the 'ZOMG JEFF KNEE!' as I should have been.

 

GGs to all of the people that I have played in ranked for the past couple of days including IKY(Something), ghostphaceEZ, K-lust, Protagonist (Always fun Aoi mirrors), ArchdukeAlstein, and B3IIAtlantis.

Some notable mentions also include Cannibal-ox-77 and Tuch_maballs (They continued to fight even after loosing continuously - I always have respect for people like that, not quite sure how they got to their ranks though).

Speaking of which, I would also say ggs to InfoRatio. I tried my best, but I could not beat this player with my current ability. His throw game was way too hard for me to combat (especially with Wolf, really makes me miss VF4's throw system but I'll shut up and just learn). Had fun playing him though, maybe I'll run into him again...

Hey, thanks! Your jacky is very strong as well. Honestly I should have played a little more patiently after the first couple of flipkicks and other things, but I was too slow to adapt! GGs, we should definitely play again sometime!

 

WTF really? Tuch_myballz actually continued to play you after you beat him a good number of times? He's a fraudulent #1 rank on PSN. But, if you had ggs against....awesome.

GGs today to everyone I met in ranked. Mostly kyus and dans, but whatever, fun is fun.

Also, great game vs mistercomplexz. That Kage has leveled up immensely. I was lucky to scrap together that win. Looking forward to more fights against you.

 

Really? Well thats kinda sad, I thought he was a good sport too. But at least that explains how he got to his rank. I mean, I have very little matchup experience vs Lau so, I figured something was up after the first couple of wins.

holy crap in the last week I've taken my positive win ratio through the shitter, I don't mind so much about the numbers as I constantly rematch people I lose to. but not only do I lose to the guys from here who normally kick my ass, I been losing to EVERYONE now. terrible slump I'm in... I gotta take a break before I hate this game!

EDIT: oh yeah I've wen't on streaks against tuch ma ballz, I think he only disconnects on people near his rank who can effect him more. obviously he disconnects... he loses to me and he's a stormlord.

 

You were that Rally person? Your avatar thing here says Valakrie_2041. That an alt account or something? But yeah, your Aoi is very aggressive - you play the way she 'should' be played, and you play well. All those string-cancels into throws and low sweeps and stuff - makes it hard to defend when there're so many things coming at me. You might try hooking up with Nomas_Tomas - he plays a strong Aoi too. Not as strong as your offensive game, but his defence is good, and we all came to the conclusion that he has psychic powers when it comes to reversals.

Great games Futu, Nomas, namerai and shadow.. Shadow missed out on the real fun of the later matches, Could.... Not... Stop.. Laughing. Hilarious game. Can I ever take this game seriously again, probably not, lol. Very entertaining day of FS.

I don't think he disconnects. He just plays really really really weak people. He will almost never challenge anyone over the rank of Barbarian. And usually once he loses, he avoids you like the plague.

So "technically" he's not a cheater. But, he clearly isn't deserving of #1 rank. However, I do have to give him credit for having the patience of a saint. The amount of games he has to play against low ranks to get to stormlord has to be somewhere between a few thousand and a fuck-ton...

 

GGs to Mr_X. Thanks for the long session. You need to work more on escaping throws. You could do it when in Neck Catch, but you need to be able to escape throws at any time. Work on yutori throw escaping on reaction. Another weakness is that you freeze up a lot. Jacky has a lot of great attack options, so mix up his strikes with throws. Last I'll say for now is that you tend to guard high when or evade when you recover from being grounded, so make sure you crouch guard every so often.

Also, GGs to Hanwiz. We had a nice exchange there, with you taking the last match 3-2.
