Had a pretty productive day today; finally attained that Berserker rank .... Now if I can just hold onto it for a while....

Complexz: I feel like I'm understanding how to defend against/approach Kage much better thanks to our matches, much appreciated cause I've been getting bodied by Kage players for a while, now I can give em a taste of Vale Tudo!
Martianpulis: Like I said before, your Taka is turning into something scary
Nomas_Tomas: Only played you a few times before but I wouldn't mind learning the matchup for Eileen a bit more (still don't know which style works better against her)
Mek-a-no: Looking forward to the next match
Hanwiz: respect to my fellow green rank comrade, it ain't easy being green...
Kingbatres: don't know if he's on VFDC but ggs anyway to the up and coming Kage player. That guy was hungry and his rank betrayed his true abilities, sure we'll see more of him later

 

I borrowed Airegin's PS3 for a few days so if you play Airegin42 and it's a kage it's definitely me. GG's to everyone I played tonight, too many to remember Complexz, your pressure was too much for me to handle! Good stuff man.

many thanks man, as I said on psn your blocking was excellent, I honestly think I only won because my bag of tricks seemed a tad deeper. hopefully you get a chance to play elite while you are on the ps3, he's my indirect teacher, stole most of what I know from his awesome thread and I am not even approaching his level yet.

great games with numbers, modelah and alstein this afternoon! I will be jumping back on for more shortly but I had some real fun games already.

 

ggs complexz ur kage is getting better BUT i see alot of drop combos on your end. Stop wasting those opportunities and maximize the damage.
ggs koenraku very strong kage and jacky, strong mixups and excellent use of throws. lol overloaded my brain
your defense was very hard to decipher now, excellent reads on throw escapes.

 

you're definitely right numbers, in my defense there is something weird about lei fei and sometimes he just doesn't bounce when I expect him to! I need to stop going robot mode and still doing my followup when the bounce doesn't happen. I find he doesn't wall splat sometimes in my wall combos too, I think I'll need to get less ambitious with a few of my combos online and come up with some more consistent alternatives.

Ah finally back at VF. Thanks to everyone who put up with my mediocre play today. Especially to Pana, complexz(a bit laggy, but i hope its better next time) and Kingu, who got me back on track a little

oh yes ggs volx, it was a tad laggy, but now knowing you are in germany.... it was pretty good! I've had worse games with people on my continent

alot of times I will accept a game that I would otherwise decline if I recognize the name and our ranks are different enough to know there is nothing really on the line if it is laggy.

 

GGs numbers. You're definitely one of the players that force me to turn off the autopilot

 

Thanks to Rodnuts for the games in ranked. I was surprised I managed to win a few fights at the start, but once you recognised my cheap, crappy tactics, you definitely started to smash me up. That guard-break thing is... very annoying. My defence usually consists of 'standing guard (maybe with a throw escape in there if I'm on-form)', so it was hard to handle it, and when I started evaded, those damned half-circulars came out and put me on my ass.

Very well played - sorry about the D/C on the last match; I'm not sure what happened, but I don't want you to think I pulled on you or anything like that. Also, grats on the rank - with only 2k games played, you're already up in the fancy shmancy ranks.

I can confirm that Rodney is not InfoRatio. I've seen them online at the same time, and Rodney has a better Akira. Wolf is the character with whom InfoRatio is most proficient.

 

GGs to the NW Bracket in the Circuit. Special mention to Exzety for being a stand-up fellow with reporting the results. In honesty, you were clearly the most skilled player of the night - I just got a few cheap/lucky hits (and that BS ring-out I got) to give me the win. Kinda feel bad, since you won our fights in the preliminaries and all.

Also, thanks to Martian for joining us - hope you had fun.

ggs to MrLoverman85, DollFaceKillas and Koenraku. Really need to start learning to use a stick but I'm enjoying this new Taka stance I've learned the past few days

 

Mr. Loverman85 was a good brad gave me some trouble until I downloaded him and beat him the second time. Good brads give me fits as good as he is offensively. I had good time in ranked today somewhat. I still prefer room battles overall but I can't complain about the matches today too much for once except for a select few in particular but that comes with VF so it isn't worth worrying about too much.
