Yep, he used Pai. I fought a couple of matches with him and his stepping was noticeable immediately. GGs GT. You force me to play at such an intense level. I need to have that high constantly!

ajs_PSN? Yes, very fun matches, hope to see you online more often.

GGs to everyone else I played as well. Starting to see a lot more "new" players online. A bunch of kyus and dans. Don't really care about their skill level (some are surprisingly good) so long as we get more of them and they stick around for a good long time.

GT if you want to troll then you have to change your movement. :D That's one of the things gives you away. The other thing... well I'm not telling. :p

I can't speak for for everyone, but for me it's really easy to tell who is trolling just by how they are moving. No one else moves the way you do since you started stepping like a mad man in Vanilla. The only person who comes close is Dennis when he is playing Wolf or Jeffrey.

Anyway, sorry I didn't stick around, but my love for fighters in general is seriously on the decline. I can only stomach a few amount of matches because I feel like I have to bail and turn off my system.

What is this crazy stepping everyone is talking about with GT? I don't think I've ever played you. My curiosity is getting the best of me...

No wonder GT you silly... You were BlackJackDara you sly devil you. The matches were still fun though do you make a habit of this kind of thing GT hiding your identity like that oh well I can't complain about it playing stronger Pais are the best the same could be said for strong Vans but I played Truewiseman enough to get a sense for what strong Van should play like.

GG's Tirip, tons of fun matches like always!!

GG's to Nomas, Libertine, MFB, VFnumbers, Elite, Truewiseman, Shadowmaster, DomAg, Brodiman, Kish, Namerai, Le-ang-Yeoh, and everyone else that joined the room. I initially just logged in to check who was playing in ranked but got an invite, then kept going from there, was gg's from everyone, had a lot of fun in VF today despite the ever annoying DC issues in rooms.

I have to agree, I've leveled 3 accounts to assassin/shatterer. Playing online rank is really the only way to practice techniques against playstyles, I'm not really concerned with win/loss ratio as I am teaching people how to play through movement and choices. If I lose to a technique or someone that is too heavily dependent on one particular strategy, it's my responsibility to beat that bad behavior like a dog.

GG's to Lucky GT, you played me, but on another account. I think I played you 3-4 times and all the matches were good. Your pai was solid, your setups good. I have to usually sit up and realize someone can play after they actually react to my dodge correctly with a good followup or, duh duh duhhhhhh(dramatic pause) another DTE to complete what VF really is, a battle of position, speed, and frames, the ultimate game of paper/rock/scissors. I didn't leave our matches thinking OMG, this guy is the best in the country though. Stop playing other games and own it =). I mean seriously, what other game is more credible than VF.

For those of you taking rank and win/loss ratio seriously, stop. Online matches will forever be good practice and only practice. It's like my tourney win in NYC back in the day, the slowmo homo championship lol!!! anyone remember this? I accepted that it was not credible in a competitive sense due to the small amount of lag from the capturing we were doing. Online is the same way. The VF circuit is really great for those that want to try and experience a tourney style event, but it's not a tourney until a room explodes with friends from all over cheering on great competition and skill!!

If it's one thing I've taken from competitive VF gaming, you're only as good as your competition. Here in the US, the level isn't that high. Oh and Cappo's pai was better than lucky GTS =).

I'd want to see this, if only to figure out what Jeff should be doing vs Kage, that match gives me fits sometimes due to frame traps.

@Blondie - I have no interest in competing against the Ghosts of Christmas Past. I may have popped off a bit after doing well at EVO and MLG, but at this point I honestly couldn't care less if anyone feels I'm the strongest player in the US or not. GGs.

@Rodnutz - I actually have no idea what this movement you talk about is, honestly. I guess whatever it is, is so ingrained in me that I do it without thinking about it.

I'm generally feeling the way you are about fighting games, about learning new games. I can't play TTT2 or DOA5 for more than a minute without wanting to turn it off. I also feel the same way when I play Jean nowadays which I guess is why I've been picking Pai for the last couple days. I've actually enjoyed learning Persona, but that game is more dead online than VF is.

GG's to Brodiman and generalripper! Apparently I need to take a look at Kage's frame data, I had thought that he was a little more unsafe after doing his flipping dropkicks.

Honestly, MLG wasn't top competition, and it makes me sad to say that, as I felt after you I was as good as anyone else there, but I know better exists. Drift could become a legit top player if he had more good offline comp though that didn't just play Jeff or Aoi.

Cha-mame also does this movement, but I think he/she overdoes it. You have a sense for using it right.

As for Persona, it's not that dead- though my Yukiko is only good for sucking the cock. ^_^
