PSN Good Games

ggs again to VF4Efan, VFnumbers and to Koenraku. Finally got good wins except from Elite's Kage. I think I'm more lucky using my brother's account

 

Don't pay too much attention to rank, it was a decent system, but it's broken once you get past warrior/veteran/berserker bracket. You hardly get experience when beating someone higher than you, and once you get into the third rank of a particular bracket, the other two ranks take a lot more experience if you lose (which is silly because you are likely all the same skill level) and it just ends up being very lopsided in the higher levels when there aren't a whole lot of Avengers/DarkSlayers running around for experience to flow evenly. People with low fights and pretty high rankings are generally very good, just don't confuse rank=skill level '-)

 

oh of course, don't get me wrong, rank is just a fun little side motivation to me.

I rank down all the time because if I run into a killer, rank be damned... I want all the rematches I can get.

 

Good games to those I played... The game is not dead! Actually, I'm having more fun in ranked now than ever. Maybe because I'm winning more than losing (finally!).

 

Vggs to blackjackdara- His pai is very strong, very evasive, very smart, solid defense, excellent yomi, excellent conditioning for wall combos, punishes guaranteed hit situations, excellent stagger recovery. double palms lei during transitions. knows the lei vs pai matchup very well.

VGGs everyone in rank too many names to remember.

Hey man, don't diss this guy. He didn't respond to my message either, but so what? I haven't known the guy for refusing matches or anything. The guy uses throws and fuzzy like you said, but it works very well for him, so I don't think there's a problem with it. His Wolf is also pretty unique compared to others, since he uses moves I rarely notice high level Wolf players using. For instance, he uses Catch and the push. Very solid defense and unique offense. Definitely one of the top players on PSN.

I agree, its kinda pissing when you only get a slight bump up when you win against a certain rank but if you lose against that same rank you lose a lot on your rank bar! And on a promotion match once you pass hunter when you fight say an assassin and lose, you lose a big chunk of your rank bar! I mean does the system want me to just find a kyu instead? It would be all the same if I lose anyways.
