Was good to play with the crew again, had a lot of really really good matches, also chat was awesome haha. Awesome games today!

ggs to you 2 Brodiman, the man with a very good defensive Sarah. gg to Squidux, ANHADONIC and others in rank last night. BTW, any advice on how to defend from Blaze's running kick that causes a stagger if you do a standing block? A couple of blaze players killed me last night with that move.

 

Evade or work on your stagger breaking.

 

Evade/shifting doesn't work because they usually follow it with a kick that tracks or the actual kick causing the stagger, tracks. I try to close the distance so they cant initiate the kick but you know Taka, he's slow and blaze is fast I use a d-pad so its difficult to stagger break, I think. Stagger break is something I never learned to use tho. I'm thinking maybe, do a crouching block. Will try out the stagger break and low block tonight. Thanks for the advice.

 

Just work on your stagger breaking, I can do it on pad, i'm not 100% with it, but I can break staggers ok enough. Doing circular motions with the Dpad and mashing a few buttons while doing it helps. Be sure to either hold Guard or press guard immediately after you break the stagger. Also go to dojo and setup the computer to record function and do Blaze's kick, then try to interrupt it with various moves.

a few of those blaze players tried that on me, I realized that the second kick is high and you can just duck under it.

 

While I appreciate all the matches I've been through already, a few players made quite the impression:

xxHadesxx: Particularly Akira. Always respected Akira but I have more than a few moments either as Aoi or Eileen where I'm at a loss as to how to deal with Akira's never-ending offensive options.

Andrew_Pana: Jacky: Already complimented your defense.

Elite: Didn't think our matches would be that brutal. 4-5 ringouts between the two of us. Oh yeah, Joan Rivers called - you finally got your fashion sense back. Space_Cadet also called - he wants to marry you.

GGs to Raze-- (sorry, i still don't like Sarah. love watching her move, hate facing her ), Nomas_Tomas, exzetyXaT1 (dat Lion), animelord79 (sorry again about my spammy online Goh, still not that good with him lol), White_Rice, and everyone else who was in Raze--'s room tonight.

BGs to PSN's servers though. i've seen plenty of disconnects in my day but tonight takes the cake.

 

yup ggs to all in Raze--'s room. It was fun being beat up around especially by that "online" Eileen of Nomas . I really need "more" moves. Btw, I got in trouble because of that room, I forgot to cook dinner

Also, ggs to Mr_LoverMan85, I forgot if he was one of the Aois or Sarahs that game me good practice in rank.

 

also, GGs to my little brother VF4Efan, he's getting better. it's almost scary to see. lol

i just wish he'd join the dark side by learning Lion like my twin brother and i both main...

 

Today's rooms were somewhat enjoyable. Always good to mix it up with good folks. Having most of the room get constantly disconnected in the middle of matches, not so fun. In fact, after about 20 or so disconnects I figured it was time to bounce -_-

 

GG's to everyone today, bad games to SEGA for not giving a flying f**k about there product on the PSN. It is the only fighter or game I have that has these issues on PSN, SF4, RE5, and DOA5 don't have this problem.. I wanted some more matches with people, but quit right after the next disconnec. Had family over so I didn't sit through all the DC's but I witnessed well over 30..
