PSN Good Games

GGs to Nomas_Tomas and his damn frustrating Eileen lol, Qeruberosu, exzetyXaTl and his Lion (apparently he's using Lion now which scares me a bit ), and almost everyone else i played today.

 

'Ol BlackBeltSpartan's taking those baby steps man. I had a few rounds with him without any problems (kept my fingers crossed and everything). I usually sport Aoi in Ranked matches but I wanted to see how Eileen would do. I appreciate those matches with TrueWiseMan - back and forth matches like that in Ranked are rare these days. Having said that, I met about 3 or 4 Shuns who seem to have it together. All in all, it was an interesting evening.

 

GGs to Venca today. It's always fun to get in a good number of matches with high level players. That Pai scares me.

 

man ranked is so serious now, nobody replies to ggs and I get mad hatemail.

I imagine losing to a ringout combo or kage's crazy wakeup mixup is frustrating....but it's gotta be nicer than another pai or jackie.

ggs. sorry, i was extremely pissed off before playing you. i kept losing to trashy players. i lost to one very spammy Jeffry, but when i tried to run it back, he kept ducking me.

 

ohh ohh! sorry dood I didn't mean you man, just venting in general about randoms in ranked. I give anyone on VFDC the benefit of the doubt I could tell you were a far superior player and I knew I snuck away with that second game with some lucky guesses and that was likely frustrating.... just assumed you didn't wanna spend precious VF time typing out a message just yet

just played a ton with hades, what a beast! ggs if you see this hades. thanks for the endless rematches

 

Hades_Kr? he's insanely good. moves flawlessly, executes very well (almost never dropped a combo).

 

yep that's the one, yea hes been destroying me since day one..seems like a helpful dude though as even in the games first week when I was beyond useless, he added me to friend list and gave me lots of rematches. Shame about the language barrier.

 

Just wanted to chime in and say GG's to a few people. Mostly the OG's and guys that actively study the game, you know who you are.

GG's to the guys that know so little about frames and the +/- game that they dodge after my launchers are blocked and we both get slow dodge at the same time....you totally yomied .

GG's to the guys that play with their own set of rules. The too many throws rule, and the no lp'ing rule, and the wonderful no back dash sweeping rule. I giggle at ppl's mic's sometime.

GG's to the guys that play 8 characters on a totally vanilla level and try to out cheese me using a character i have experience with for over 8 years...

Lastly good games DC'ers, cause I could use the practice, and i like the challenge of ending round 5 so fast you couldn't pull in time.

 

GG today to Pana. Easily took a set from me. Was a good warm-up for the RR tonight. I've been playing too much of DOA and TTT2 lately, needed that ass whoopin' to get back in shape...

GGs to everyone that I have fought in ranked in the past couple of days. Game feels different to me after playing TTT2, kind of a little less brutal and restrictive if you know what I mean. Also ggs to Black General and Fugassami, two strong Akira's, both very patient. Taught me to play a little more defensively.

 

ggs to blue-summers, iamthedave,and others i had the chance to play this past week.

 

ggs to piccolo and the other players in rank tonight. I miss playing in rooms tho. The rooms and players match are very empty this days.

 

did you win against piccolo? I had quite a few games I thought were good when I would lose to him, but finally beat him yesterday... one good game, he wants to run it back.... beat him again.... disconnected.

I would give him the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a connection problem but he always was a bit of a troll to me, waiting until the last second of the timer to accept matches and shit.

was gonna leave it be and not post but to see him in the ggs thread I had to wonder. I hate people that are willing to take the wins when they beat me just fine, but as soon as I adapt and beat them, they can't extend the same courtesy.

but uhh.... since this is not the BG's thread lol...

No, I doubt that piccolo purposely disconnected on you. He can take losses just fine, and I know that it may be hard to believe but, if someone waits until the timer is at its last seconds, then they were probably responding to messages or something else lol.

 

To be fair, the game's disconnection tendencies tend to be real bad in Players/Room lobbies, although it can happen in Ranked on occasion...not nearly as bad as Players/Rooms though.

@complexz: On my end I have the occasional knucklehead fight me a billion times but the one time he gets a win on me I don't see him for years. Although sometimes someone jumps in as soon as I get back to hosting

I'm sure you'll have folks that'll keep fighting you, so if someone else is looking for you he obvious won't be seen and if someone's fighting said dood he'll not be seen obviously be others. Granted people aren't all playing FS like that these days due to DOA5, TTT2, life, and food but whatever.

 

haha well it's still rather coincidental as the rounds leading up to it were very one sided...but if hes got a good reputation here, that's good enough for me...one mistake isn't enough to make me think a guy is a dick even if he did intentionally dc. Clearly it's not a habbit as his smiley is green, and the games have always been fun.
