PSN Good Games

GGs everyone that joined the room very entertaining matches.

 

Yes GG to VFNumbers' room. It was a freaking blast to be able to play with everyone and actually do what I was supposed to do (aside from a few mistakes on capitalizing for more damage). Everyone in it were amazing, Nomas, Raze, Dennis, ShadowMaster. It is so refreshing to play people who know what they are doing and both give helpful and hilarious commentary.

 

Yes GGs. Playing in VFnumbers room at 1:00 am is always a blast. Lots of really good players in that room. Really looking forward to more

 

Good games to the players on ranked that kicked my ass, today: VFNumbers, XxRodnutzxX, Hydrakid. I did finally earn that demotion with my sloppy play, and, until I step my game up, I do feel that I'm somewhere between a Guardian and a Warrior. I'm really getting better at shaking out of stagger, though, so one step at a time. Next on my agenda is to train myself out of my side-step -> launcher habit and go with side-step -> 2p more often, since it's more reliable, even if the reward of a couple of frames of advantage isn't as juicy as a giant combo. After that, I really want to start throw-escaping while side-stepping, but now I'm talking to myself.

Good games to animelord79 (shadowmaster) for taking me on in so many mirror matches, today! Discussing Pai's moves with you (+ is a special high? Super swagger) was really cool. There was a couple of questions that I forgot to ask you, though, like where fits into the game when I think that While-Standing is faster and stronger. I've seen you use it, but I don't really know what it's for.

Man, went on a bit of a VF marathon today. GGs to all the folks I ran into in ranked today.

VFnumbers, ArchdukeAlstein, BlackGeneral, Rodnutz, exzetyXat1, and probably a few more that I'm forgetting right now. All good games. I'm surprised I was able to put up a fight against the lot of you....let alone win a few...

You did a good job there against me must better than I expected but don't worry about your rank seriously just get better at playing VF in general because once you do that your rank will shoot up so fast you will be amazed at quickly it happened. I stopped playing ranked when I reached the rank of Warrior and lost all interest in playing ranked since I am always in the room battles with such great players and cool guys overall. The few matches I play in ranked are okay but they get boring quickly oh well.

I had a blast in Canon77's room today and it was great overall as always. GGs to all the people in the room today overall it was a great learning experience overall and I got my crappy Van all kinds of work she really needed it too.

Good games to Cometsu for letting me get honorable run-backs in ranked, haha. Good games, also, to proudtobeblack10 (I think that was his screen-name) who took me on in Player Matches a few times before I spent virtually the rest of the night playing with M-F-B, who's apparently back on the scene after a hiatus.

Tomorrow is the big day, so I'm looking forward to seeing M-F-B and BogusMeatFactory in my bracket. Rodnutz...? Not so much.

I'm sure we'll be fine.

Thanks for all the great matches, I was just trying to get in a game or two before logging out, but ended up playing a bunch more because they were so fun! Really fast paced stuff and I felt bad for logging off, but i'm really tired. Really good stuff!

 

GGs to you Raze, you make me realize how tough Sara can reach and definitely would like to practice more.

Also GGs to everyone on Number's room yesterday! A full room was fun, and I hope SEGA can fix 30 sec rule to make the whole thing faster. Otherwise it's like to wait 20 more mins to get next game once you lose.....

Oh I don't mind. I'm trying to get better with Eileen all the time.

I feel like I might need an arcade stick. Using the PS3 controller is kinda becoming a pain.

Good games to the people that I played in Ranked, today: Nomas_Tomas, Cha-Mame3, RIP-BYATCH, Darksoul173. I got a lot of rematches today with all of you guys, which was great. After a few fights, I finally got Cha-mame3 to panic, haha, so that I could get away with a lot of my usual shit, but I still lost -- just barely... One hit would have finished him in the fifth round, and I gave it all away with a stupid , which he ducked, of course. At least I've... I think that I've been doing it a ~little~ bit less, but I still do spam it, and it costs me glorious victory, haha.

Also, good games to Bogus and M-F-B in the Circuit bracket. Good games to the rest of the competitors, too, of course, but, between nerves and our being strangers, I think that at least a few of us would agree that the matches were kind of awkward, haha. I'm glad that everybody in the room was a good player; because I wasn't familiar with some of the names, I figured that there might be a lot of beginners (not that there's anything wrong with that), but even the newest players were holding their own, to say the least, and I didn't feel like any of the matches were easy. It was cool to meet you guys, and maybe I'll see you guys around, again, maybe for the next VF Circuit event!
