PSN Good Games

Have you fought Nomas Tomas or DaBadSeed. I have been playing their aois they are solid in all things related to Aoi. The experience I get with them is really helping to get a good idea of how to deal with smart aois in general. You should try to find these 2 guys in particular.

 

The other Akira player was CP otherwise known as Carolina Panther. He played aoi back in the VF5 vanilla days. I didn't think I would ever get the chance to hear badseed talk, it through me off when I heard his voice at first.

It was a fun room and aois as good as badseed's don't come around very often. It is nice to have him around again playing VF

Yeah dabadseed is real epic and nomas is always willing to help out if you ask. You can also check out Tiripism for a very very strong Aoi too. Tirip is good with others characters too, but his Aoi is ridiculous... Can't think of a strong Vanessa player off hand other than truwiseman...

 

Lethalmind is one that comes to mind as well..

You almost never abare, this means that there's no guessing game anymore, I KNOW that if you're in -6 for example I can throw you as I please cause I won't be eating any CH strikes from you.

Wow, thanks, Kamais, and thanks for taking me on so many times in the middle of the night. You're right; I'm really afraid to abare, and that's one thing that I like a lot about your style, and high-level play in general -- when I'm too afraid to let go of the block button, you keep the pressure up... You're not afraid to occasionally attack out of disadvantage when you don't think that I'm going to hit back. I'll try to slowly insert that into my game and see how much I can make of it... read for what makes my opponent freeze up and see if I can't keep pressure on.

I think that a part of the reason that I'm afraid to abare is that I'm just so uncomfortable with close-quarters; I don't have any muscle memory for throwing out elbows after a block or when my 2P hits or anything like that... Everything feels so slow in close-quarters that I'm always afraid that I'm going to get countered, because I'm not secure with the fact that, if I have +2 on my opponent, there isn't anything that they can counter with. All that they can do is block or sidestep, so I just have to get over that phobia.

It's perfectly understandable, it takes a while to get used to hit-checking and all that stuff, hell I'm not perfect at it myself. We're all learning the game, even if on different levels. Just keep at it and you will get it eventually, you can always play me too and I can give you more advice as you get better. See you in a few days!

 

GGs to GentlemanThief, Dennis0201, Vencabot and other people that I played last night on PSN. I wish VF on PSN kept track of who you play like other games on PS3 do when you play people online under people met.

I've had good games with many people, but the only way to remember who I played is to write their name down. Oh well.

@Blackula I'm just stepping out for a painful two days without VF, but, after I got into bed last night, I felt guilty for forgetting to GG you in this thread, haha. Silly, I know; who cares, but it was an honor to be able to fight you. I've never fought a more bad-assed Brad. Thanks for taking me on a few times before I broke off to play in Player Matches!

 

Sure was. Like the sugar at the bottom of the lemonade glass. Bambi night. Although I was too tired to enjoy or focus on much of it, was definitely a fun and I always welcome the experience. You're one of the only other people who actually like "Takazilla Battles". Also fuck your Shun. For real.

We'll get that good set in soon when I'm not so burned out. Cop the DLC asap man! I want us to PROPERLY troll each other. If you can't see shit, it makes me sad. :'-(
