PSN Good Games

Most of his stuff frame wise isn't that great unless you have alot of advantage on the opponent his slower moves get beat badly especially online. When I play goh on PSN I get beat after a confirmed hit and I get countered too even on block when i know they should be at negatives on block. It happens to me so much that I have to stop and take a break so I don't explode. You are better off spamming sabakis in heavy lag at least then you can confirm damage on them especially when you know they are spamming on purpose and lag is helping them out as well

Yeah, the problem is that he has a specific attack for each situation, and it usually requires you not to waste any frames (using his knee/throw mixup when you have +5 etc), so all it needs is for the lag to cause a one-frame delay, and Mr Mc2pSpam is going to be CHing you after getting his attack guarded, rather than eating the 1/2 life damage combo. Kind of annoying, since most of the elbows that have follow-ups, as well as guarded 2Ps, are -5 on guard, so you're supposed to be able to guard and smack them with the knee, but lag ruins it.

I got bored of it and went back to Jacky. Playing Goh for a while at least lets me see Jacky's strengths over the slower, harder-hitting guys - being able to spam a 14 frame mid string is nice... for now. I'm sure I'll get pissed off with him again soon enough.

P.s. All the characters you guys use are still OP and have all the best moves and my guys are all the worst.

 

GGs to BlackGeneral for some amazing games this morning. I haven't really had the chance of having a decent session with you in a while, so it felt like I was playing a totally different person. Wow!

Also ggs to everyone that I have been fighting in the past couple of weeks. Some notable mentions include MrLoverMan, Modelah, Martianpulis, Nightshade, Jaytecx, MakiLeSushi (Sucks about the lag!) daRockReaper, and a ton of others who I just may have forgotten.

 

The feeling is mutual. It's good to play a great Aoi once in a while. Unlike people like Hopfrog and Lonewoof90 who just stand there with Ying-Yang stance and PRAY.

I wanted so bad to keep playing with you guys, but got called away suddenly. It was not cool to invite you guys to the room and then have to duck out like that, my apologies!

Now you guys know how much fun it is to play MotorCityJacky I have been playing against him for years on XBL and the matches were always entertaining regardless of who won or lost. It is nice that he came to PSN to play as well. He was one of the few respectable Jackys I actually enjoyed fighting against overall even in Vanilla. I have to play with my Van more often though she really needs the experience in real battles.

ggs genzen, I think that thrashing got my brain back into VF mode after all the street fighter and metal gear rising I've been playing lately. forgive the robotic play, I haven't been forced to adapt so much in awhile

 

Lol, no worries. With Lion, I'm scrubby as hell and can't string together a combo to save my life. I think my Taka game is kinda easy to see through too, and there are many stronger Sumo-heads out there...
