PSN Good Games

Badgirl and I play so much alike that it makes the games I have with her Pai very intriguing slug fests indeed. Overall I think we are about even but I can't complain she is the most entertaining person I have played against in quite some time.

 

Had a fun set with Exzety earlier today. I'm kind of proud of myself; I think that I provide him with some pretty stiff competition these days.

let's put it this way: if it took me just under a month to get comfortable with a stick over a pad, it should take you about 4 more seconds to get comfortable with a stick.

She plays different from you though. Her combos are stronger then yours and seems more agressive while your more safe/defensive then her. Almost complete opposite imo

 

That is why we have very entertaining battles because I have good idea of what she will do and can defend from her stuff and anticipate her tactics with my safer tactics. I actually fight her more aggressively than i would most people because I know the Pai match up so well and I can guess at what she will do more often than not. I can't say that with most people. Her and Akai are polar opposites though I am not as defensive as he is. I don't always fight too hard because I look to learn from every match up I come across that is why it seems that I am defensive but I suck at defending overall. I don't take online seriously I use it as a learning tool that is why I rank so much lower than what I feel i should be right now. I do good against her because I can guess right at what she might do using my knowledge of her frame data and act accordingly aiding my lack luster defense alot. I might upload a replay I saved with her and me fighting to show you people what I mean. Seriously our battles are like wars with each side throwing bombs at each other constantly I think she will agree with me alot of what I say here Zekiel. Don't assume just because I don't fight you as aggressively as you she does that I am a defensive person I am the exact opposite of that from my own point of view I choose safer options compared to other good Pai players.

Only if you knew how tough our battles were when we fought and knew of the Pai match up as much as I do you would see what I mean clearly

 

Played tons of match against Hanwiz and Tenguman09.
Hanwiz seems to play Pai mainly now.
I haven't seen Tenguman lately much so maybe he's rusty a bit? I won most of the matches! lol
Nonetheless, his Goh is freaking cool. I actually learned many moves playing against him when I
started practicing Goh.

 

From the few games I played against you, Anime, I noticed you played quite conservatively. Not sure if you're just defensive in nature (which is certainly better than being a spam-happy masher) or if you just don't have much experience against Jacky or find him intimidating (endless supply of strings ftw!), but I felt like I was being allowed to get away with a lot of things that I shouldn't if you were more aggressive and attacked more (prime example being that you almost never attack after I do 6PP (elbow, backfist), which is mid-high, and disadvantage even on hit).

 

I wasn't into the fight at that time at all. I was warming up at that time and it took me awhile to warm up too. By time I faced Badgirl I was warmed up. I was beaten pretty good early and it takes me awhile to warm up sometimes. When I am not in the mood it shows. I play decently against Jacky normally when I am on. I wasn't at that time oh well. I know of Jacky's crap I didn't care then that was it. I need to find ways to warm up faster. I might have to play an AI for a bit before I go online to make the warm up period shorter

Bad girl's defense improved but she has a destructive offense and she plays like that all the time. I dont think there's any pai players who are more offensive then her except aopai himself. The well known japanese veteran player at EVO last year.

 

I think you're a bit exaggerating... just a tiny tiny bit...

 

Not really... She one of the few who plays aggressive without spammin strings and constantly abare like most pai players do. lm saying this because she's leveled up tremendously. Not sure if you know that. She plays like japanese pai players now. Of course most players see aopai as having the best pai. Thats y i said except him because i dnt think anyone has a better pai then him,TBH.
