PSN Good Games

Darksoul, my bet is that if you took it offline, you'd probably do better. I know when I play with the locals around here, a lot more of my stuff works and I can play smarter since I know my frames will be consistent (too bad for the hitboxes though...) Also, tight punishes can be done more consistently which makes the game better in my opinion since it means that people have to more cognizant of their choices.

While the top tier guys (most of them anyways) definitely earn their ranks, there are still frauds who cherry pick and way too much lagnanigans (lag and shenanigans mixed) to really care about rank. Rank is totally meaningless when lag plays such a huge factor. My 10 frame at +5 was beaten by a 17 frame launcher today. When I checked the replay, I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. I hit the dojo and sure enough, my move beat it every time in that situation. If only I had my capture equipment, I'd show you all the times things didn't make sense. Hell, steelbaz and I will forever remember my 17 frame launcher beating his 17 frame launcher when he was at like +8 or something. I think the biggest problem is that if your connection lags in terms of getting the input to the server and the other person's doesn't, it really doesn't matter what you do, you're always playing at disadvantage and if you are playing someone who is mash happy, you're pretty much f'd.

Yup Beasty is right on with that assessment, i've run into that kind of thing many many times.

 

Who is this run away sushi lol, keep running away like u did against me after I beat u and go eat some more sushi maybe u will get better and dont talk to me again if u r going to continue to talk crap because u lost.

 

I am just trying to do some good vf but there r always going to be haters just dont mind them and play friendly and dont duck peeps.

 

I doubt SNAKE BOSS could pull off a dance that epic.

 

GGs to some of the people that I have fought recently including ComaPL, Jaidin (Jeffry is...beginning to make me mad), and Darksoul (Always enjoyable fighting you, your Lion is very aggressive and fun to play).

Also, I had the opportunity to finally play GentlemanTheif very late last night on my alternative account. He is by far the best player that I have ever fought in this game so far. No need to get specific - he has excellent everything. But I really liked his movement, just wish that I would have saved a replay or two. Honestly though, I couldn't help but feel sick after playing him. I think that I might try to take a break from the game for a while...

 

GGs kingo. I think I know what my weaknesses are, but you could probably provide better insight than me. Aoi is way different from other characters due to her Tenchi stance, and I just found it hard to make the adjustments.

 

Ggs Libertine you have good defence, you TE, you fuzzy, you abare at times. But one thing I noticed is that you often attack after tech roll... you can only do that if your opponent tries to throw you on wake up. Yeah you need to work on the Aoi match up, and I need to play against Brad too, so we should train together !

Also ggs to all the people in maki's room.
I especially enjoy that one match with Phoxx's El blaze doing fun and crazy stuffs against volx's Jean.. back throw, jump, dancing, hit from the back, wall combo...Pretty entertaining ! I had to save that replay. I was laughing hard watching this, even if I don't like Blaze.

Edit: good games Drift and Jaidden, gotta run several with Drift which was nice. A lot of 1 bar and gray bars out there besides the site regulars :/

Also, ggs to Extrem0-174, one of the few Blazes (along with Phoxx) I can stomach playing as he doesn't spend the entire match on the other side of the ring...
