PSN Good Games

In context, I had just woken up after not getting much sleep, and I won the vast majority of our matches. Is that better?

 

ggs to all I met in ranked tonight, MakiLeSushi (I was lucky in that first match), BlackGeneral, Nammerai just to name a few off the top of my head, there's more worth mentioning but I'm kinda sleepy.

GGS to the Taka players I encountered, most I've seen in one night, 3! ardamon (tough bugger), vincenzo213(?) and I_Am_Shidosha.

Special mention to Shidosha for giving me some valuable insights!

 

ggs to TTownTony, Spiros, style919 (Rarely ever fight eileens), ComaPL (Finally a game...a hard one at that!), DemGohnads, Darksoul, Bad_girl, martianpulis, Modelah, general ripper, wonky_kick (Nice to finally see that you're on VFDC!), lisa_lisa_(I seriously need to have a 1-on-1 with Vanessa), ulquiora44 (Did Kage become extinct? Haven't seen one in ages), Akai_JC (Nice pai, she was one of the secondary characters that I was thinking about trying, or going back to in this case), Pana, and Shidosha (...Well damn).

 

Good Games to all the VF heads I've played recently. Rodnutz, Truewiseman and Lezardo Lepardo for the that ft5 set.

By playing this many good players repeatedly, I'm bound to get strong sooner or later.

 

There u go again Lib and trying to add more fuel to the fire, I told you I was only playing for fun in rank yesterday with different characters and I dont really care how many I won or you won but if you are counting then remember this I beat you last and that time I was not playing around and thats why I won 3 straight rounds in a row but over all all the other matches were close and went to the 5th round. I was just playing for fun and to improve and not only to win lol, and dont tell me you want a FT10 next, overall good games buddy.

 

Are you still hating sushi for me beating you in our FT10 last year lol, man get over it and dont hate cause its on you if you do hate buddy. Most importantly remember its not about beating anyone, its about improving and having fun doing it.

GGs to all guies of my room yesterday:
Lézardo (aka leonardo lol) your characters are ugly (mainly akira) but u play very well, u cancel evades, and u punished my fail evades... in the beginning of course =p but it was fun playing against a good player
Darksoul: i don t understand how u can be only warrior... u rose ur level up but watch out when u tech roll you abare a lil bit.
Nowhere and crimson alreday knows what i think about them
And gg to volx: don t be mad on me but i hate ur Jean =p and i was enjoying everytime when my ST crumple connected =))) arrff it was so enjoyable to finally kick jean's ass (even if it was in only 1 match =p)

I feel honored that you hate my jean maki, but i think i was a bit sloppy yesterday, didnt play at all over christmas.

Darksoul was an Assassin the last time I saw him . That only goes to show you just how meaningless ranked is. I should higher than Berserker where I am at now but it doesn't matter to me regardless. Times must have been tough for darksoul lately but it makes facing all of the better people on PSN. That tends to happen when you go up against better people online consistently.

 

i actually play alot worse against randoms (aka ppl who dont know what they are doing and overall ppl who are not from vfdc) since it's such a differenet game lol
and yeah rank is meaningless

Btw i don t play you coz with my actual level i got 0 chance to even take u a round, i got to resolve my evades cancel problem and the meaty that u use on me... Step by step, i ll improve and it will be more entertaining for the both to play...
Edit: i prefer to play with better than me, coz if i win my satisfaction is bigger...

 

A lot of this is probably due to the frame delay/lag. A lot of good players still play the advantage, disadvantage game properly, despite iffy connections. Randoms dont' really understand what they are doing and get away with murder on the bad connection. I consistently have been at +6 or over and had my jabs or elbows beaten out by much larger frame moves. Sometimes i'll hold block and the block doesn't engage and I get hit. Out of 80 games or more in the last 2 or 3 days in ranked i've probably lost 5 matches to good or decent connections, the rest were 1 bars that I couldn't punish no matter what. I knew a lot of the frame situations were extremely negative for them cause they'd be using Vanessa or character i'm very familiar with. Still didn't lose too many 1 bar fights, but they were not punishable at all in most every case.

Living in Washington State way up here in the PNW, means I end up playing people from much farther away on average than most I would imagine.
