Oops. I didn't realise not skipping replays pissed people off. A lot of the time right after a match I'm going through my mistakes and gameplay in my head and I'll always forget to hit the button to skip.

I'll make a note to skip replays whenever I remember though.

^ It doesn't always! I was just a it cheesed of yesterday in general with constantly getting my ass handed to me [IMG]
Watching replays are fine when cool stuff happens!

Oh and I entered into some serious dialogue with BlackBeltSpartan as well.
I was trying to delve into the mind of an Assasin ranked player who isn't very good.
I mentioned to him that his playing stule wasn't reflective of his rank, and he concurred that I was also a bit rubbish and so on. Um... then I ended up friending him. Got me up to Warrior staus in no time fighting a few games with him [IMG]
Get's you into bad habbits though, fighting not very good players.

My guess is that people space out and forget to skip it at the end of the game.

At first, I didn't even know that skipping the last replay made it skip for the other person too. I mean, the match is over. Why would the on-screen activity need to sync at that point? That's why I've been playing my last replays.

i think the last replay would need to remain synched in case any item win poses were triggered (granted the other player has the winner's item pack).

While true, who cares if two players see the same replay? If a patch ever does release, it sounds like this should be a change.

This one made me laugh pretty hard. Sometimes I like to let replays play on a round I lost if someone was doing something shameful like throwing three low punches in the span of the replay.

If you are referring to me, I neither quit nor call people childish names. As a matter of fact, you are now on my friend's list. Maybe you should check your "received" messages in your mail. Fortunately, I haven't erased my mail in a long time so I will check all messages that may have been sent to you and report back. Anyone who consistently beats me, I WANT to play them and learn because I am new to the series.

Yeah, he just reiterated. I am officially a worthless uneducated idiot. Go careful if you come up against me. I might just stupid you to death and win the match [IMG]

aww really, now your spreading your lies on the forum. Heres the rundown everyone...

-this guy challenges me in rank

-We have a low 2 bar connection which i know is laggy and damn near unplayable but i still decide to accept his challenge since there are hardly any others near my rank to fight and gave him the benefit of the doubt

-as expected the match was laggy and had slight button delay during the fight and he was winning, later in round 3 we got disconnected

-not even 5 seconds passes before i get a rage-filled belligerent message from this guy claiming im garbage and cable pulled and that i cheated my way to my rank despite me having a full green smiley

-i return a reply message questioning his intelligence in automatically assuming that all disconnects are due to rage quitting

-he replies back claiming that i wasn't in the participant list right after the disconnect and that automatically means that i cable pulled

-I reply enforcing his lack of intelligence in making such an idiotic assumption based off that and cited various scenarios and why someone isn't at the participant screen right away

-He runs to the forums anyway and cries about me being a cable puller

    -The end

^ no - it was a bad game because you pulled early. End of.

Excellent synopsis, sort of. But there was certainly no rage. I just thought you were a bit of a dick for cable pulling. That's all [IMG]

I wasn't referring to you. There is a similar person of your psnid and used a different character. I understand the misconception.

Oh ok. Good to know it wasn't me. Thanks for sending me the message via PS3 as well Lygophilia. The characters that you use, Raze--, are pretty hair-pulling/deadly too.

Bad game to CODWAWABCf, who kept getting disconnected immediately after our matches and, as a result, ended up staying at the top of the room four times in a row after getting bodied each time. Even after being asked to forfeit his ill-gotten turn and even after other players tried to coordinate to step around him ("Okay, you select 1P in three, two, one..."), he continued to block other players from having their turn, forcing us to make a new room.

Before tonight, I'd only fought him a couple of times, and he ended up DC'ing on me in rage and then pretending as though it were an accident. At the time, he was sending angry messages, telling me about how violent he gets when he's angry and how I shouldn't push him... by winning?, and the final round he just fitfully mashed P before becoming disconnected. Likewise, he seems to want to pretend that he doesn't understand why we quit the room on him; even on the off-chance that he isn't DC'ing on purpose, stealing people's turns just because you magically end up back at the top of the list is hella bad sportsmanship.

If you see this guy around, don't bother... I have every reason to believe that he's a puller, and, even if he isn't, he's a bad sport, for sure. One of only three that I've ever met in the Virtua Fighter community.
