PSN Bad Games

Okay, this isn't a bandwagon move or anything on my part to join in on the BlackBeltSpartan (SNAKE BOSS) hate, but I just felt compelled to post. I joined him in ranked thinking, "Why not?" I get to the next screen, and I see that we have full bars. He never accepts, waiting for the timer to run down. I start the match, and he's standing there like a statue. So I dash into him until we reach the wall. If he still didn't respond, I'd start making wall combos. Once we're there, he immediately uses Lau's wall throw. One of two things is possible:

1. He was away from his console (in a lobby?!) and joined at the time we reached the wall, whereupon he responded.

2. He deliberately waited for this moment, somehow guessing that I'd do this.

While these things are possible, I doubt either of them is the truth. Most likely, he was finding some way to increase the lag. (Lag switching?) That would explain why he didn't respond for a while. I noticed that somehow our match had lots of lag, even though we were supposed to have full bars. By the time he was done lag switching or whatever, he threw me. Has anybody else had a similar experience? I'm not going to commit to any of these ideas, but I will say that his gameplay hasn't improved.

He's super fck'n laggy, def uses a switch or some form of device to create lag, it isn't even debatable. Blazetwist lag < BBS Lag.

 

Heard he's suppose to be more honest and shit, trying to get better. I'm not gonna hate on him cause I ever really had a Bad BBS experience other than him not accepting my challenges back in the day. Let's just hope he's trying to actually about to put some time into this game and learn the mechanics, cause rank sure as hell doesn't matter...

 

he literally has the worst 3-bar connection i've ever played. something doesn't seem right with his connection.

Crazy shit about this is that there are too many threads about this dude... Y'all need to go back to paying him no mind

 

Yeah he accepted mine some times lost almost all of them (before he ended up rage quitting obviously)

But hey my fault for playing a red disconnect bar player, especially Snake Boss

It's not a fail, not at all. Doesn't matter, thread or not. If a guys trying to get serious then aren't we suppose to help???

 

I'd make the effort to help him get better. I believe him when he says that he no longer pulls, even though he still has a red face. But I think he has replaced pulling with lag tricks. It's just a shame is all.

This isn't about trying to make the guy look bad. It's to let people know what he's up to these days. He has changed, but he's basically the same guy as before.

 

I'm honestly tired of all the banter on this site about him. I don't want to be in the "He's face now" camp, nor the "He's still an ass" camp.

But I feel compelled to say that the last few times I fought him, it was legit. No lagging, no pulling, no shenanigans, etc... He's still a terrible player, but I can atleast play against him without too much heartburn...

My 2 cents...

 

The last few times I've played against him have been fine as well. Except that when he finally eeks out a win after fifteen or twenty straight matches, he suddenly disappears.

 

If he beats you last, he wins... or so he believes.

 

BGs to me. Loss after loss after loss after loss. One thing that sets VF apart from other fighting games is that EVERY character is an asshole. Fuck.

Well, the exception, IMO, is the Bryants. They are on another level of BS.Fuck Bryant players. All of them. Ever. /Salt

I love this post, every single word rings true with me too, and I couldn't have written it any better. I don't like to wallow in self-pity too often but sometimes it helps just to get it out I suppose so... BGs to my sorry ass as well.

I saw you for the first time on PSN last night 00000000, too bad the connection wasn't good enough to play. If it matters, at least your rank is decent, I'm still a Barbarian/Defender in-betweener after a shameful 4000 games!

 

Oh hey man, yeah, I've had way too many losses partly due to bad connections so I stay away from one-bar or less. Always good to run into fellow VFDC players though. I'm sure your win percentage will improve after you get into a groove with whatever character you play (Taka?). Hell, my win/loss ratio is about 50% but that's mainly due to days like today and me learning VF from the ground up. VF's ranking system is kind of fucked up but whatever. Getting demotions fucking ruins my day, that's for sure.

Ugh, I just had a rough day is all. I tried to break with some MvC2 and it was all counterpickers and pussy runaway blackheart players tonight. I just had to take my losses and turn my console off.
