Yeah, but what's the point when it also puts them at a disadvantage as well? Lagging the game won't necessarily guarantee a win for them.

I don't think you understand how they work. The person with the lag switch controls when to lag the game. So they will have no lag when on the attack and they can start lagging as soon as you go on the attack. This way they are playing normally and you have to deal with lag during every combo.

Its pretty obvious when someone uses them since the lag is so one sided.

 

Well, I've never thought it was real. Just a term people used. They sell those at WalMart?

 

I don't think you can get them in stores, but you can actually find a good number of websites (including amazon and ebay) where you can purchase them. The sad thing is reading the comments of the people who actually bought one...

They seem so proud of themselves for going 80-0 on CoD while using a lag switch...I guess I don't understand the young people these days...

 

I personally haven't fought anyone with a lag switch before in VF (at least, I don't think I have). I have in another game though (Naruto UNSG), and it's pretty pathetic I must say. I would rather have someone quit on me than use a lag switch. That type of cheating is the only thing that would drive me to dcing someone. Well...not in vf, cause I just don't care lol.

 

did anybody play frogzilla lately? i played him when he was still around assasin rank and his fei was really pretty bad. Now hes some kind of tiger-something and he wont play me. I think hes ducking.

 

. The thing is. , you can beat a player using a lag switch, if you encountered those kinds of players before. Lag switch only works against players who aren't Expecting it and are unprepared for it.

I've encountered lots of loser players like this in Doa ultimate on old Xbox. They are basically losers who care more about their rank than actually having fun and being good at the game. But come to think of it , back in 2004 I think they were hitting the " standby" button on their modems, the effect is still the same ( back in the early 2000's modems had a " standby button" that temporarily paused their connection). I remember a lot of assholes on Rainbow 6 black ops abused the stand by button. (Later known as the " Internet on/off button).

 

Bad games to both Mothaluss(wolf player) and Kimber-something(lei player) for pulling the plug
The first pulled the plug when he was down with 0.1% life (So yeah it was a pull)
The second was demotion match and he was begging at first that i won't demote him than he started shit-talking (which was actually funny hearing him getting mad) and than DISCONNECT FROM PLAYERS
so yeah.. bad games

 

I always enjoy playing Kimber when he's got his mic on. He's pretty funny, but he's never DC'd on me.

 

I've never had Mothaluss or Kimber disconnect on me, both of them seem ok in my book.

Lol Senpai has been like that since day 1. I can't remember his character as I haven't played him in awhile, but I remember he's spammy as all hell. Talks shit win or lose and impossible to get a rematch with...
