New York City or some tournament?

 

It's a major in Philadelphia, PA. it doesn't cost much to get there round trip via greyhound.
Virtua Fighter starts on Sunday, 2PM. I stated that I will no longer compete at tourneys but if you go I will enter so we can put your "Skylord Skills" to the test against the east coast's finest (yep that includes me too buddy!)

and with that said here are my rules to the FT10:

Shidosha (Taka) vs Snake Boss (Lau)
I will stay as taka, no character switch no trolling, this is a test of true strength.
Stage select is RANDOM
Pausing is unallowed and you better check your buttons before we start.
Buy-in is $100
Bitch-assness will not be entertained.
I would like to do this on saturday as we both have to focus on the tourney and I want to do commentary (should u choose to go)

If i lose I will give you $100 your due respect, and I'm sure the entire community will as well

If you lose you will admit you have alot to learn and furthermore proceed to hold that L tightly to your chest for all eternity and second saturdays. And u will give me $100

I would do it but I have work to focus on so I cant be going out of state right now. Why cant we do it here in CT? There are no vf tournaments here and thats why we should try to do some here. Also I am not doing for money so now if you accept?

Bad Games to Kiara340. Lags during combos and ducks once you figure him out. Horrible Brad play who does nothing but abuse a bad connection to spam abare attacks.

 

Ahem. Upon beating someone named BeeChoChin enough times to promote myself, I get some interesting hatemail:

BeeChoChin: "You got your little promo with those jab-throw tactics. cool, now fuck off and take basic-ass jacky whicha. i can hate if i want to. I just got off work and im in no mood for f***."

Genzen: "F***? I was just trying to win. Sorry if you're upset about the losses."

that guy isn't very good at all. IIRC he was a very spammy rocket discharge El Blaze who played keep away a lot. lol that hate mail is great. BeeChoChin's tears, they're delicious

 

Lol really? Wow, I've played BeeChoChin a good bit, never got any hatemail from him, but his spammy rocket discharge blaze can get annoying...

But still....that's some dedicated hate mail right there sir. Congratulations...

 

It's not annoying 'cos it's so easy to beat. He doesn't stop attacking so you can just keep landing counter-hits all day long.

 

ComaPL avenger D/Ced after I won the first and second round.
That was pretty sad.

 

Nope, it was laggy 0 bar, and my char suddenly stop doing anything, 3 seconds after he bacdashed 4 times, then BAH - dc. Are you suprised? Also it happened in second round.

 

aw man I might need to unignore snake boss now as I smell a storm of hilarity brewin.

 

Well, my bad. I thought it was one bar. I might have assumed it was bad connection if it was no bar game. It happened when I almost finished you in the second round. lol I assumed you were getting ready to d/c.

It is real,Panda. I use the term lag switch if they are downloading to slow the game also,but they can also make a switch that will literally freeze the game at thier choosing. A dude did it to me in mortal kombat during the final round to stop me from doing sheeva's unblockable moves. Some people are so full of fail that they can't(don't want to put forth effort) win any other way.

 

those "lag switches" are real devices you can buy. also, in a game where timing is so important, just being one frame of animation late or early can mean the difference between 60 points of damage and 80 points of damage, why is it unreasonable to assume people want to take advantage of this and lag out their opponent?

 

Where is this BeeChoChin? I remember that name , I fought him and I destroyed him. If you going to be talking shit like that BeeChoChin then lets do a FT10 ans see how really good your are. Streamed.

 

i'm gonna be honest, i'm not going to doubt when you say you pummeled him. once you get past his rocket discharge keep-away game, he's very one-dimensional.

 

Ugh, I'm not going to call "bad game" on the guy. But, when my satisfaction for beating you is outweighed by my annoyance at attempting to beat you, I just don't see the point and accepting your challenge...
