PSN Bad Games

BGs to some guy named R-Dizzle something or other. I get an Excellent on him in the last round of our last match, and suddenly there's a disconnect. The guy apparently thought that he could deprive me of an increase of my ranking meter, but he was just a little too late.

Maybe it was a coincidence, but I doubt it.

I think it's a coincedence libertine, I'm not sure as his game style is pretty trolly, he could be a douche, But I used to beat him alot and have even ranked him down, no disconnects. I always hated him because hes always dancing and using stupid costumes, but one day I was feeling like a gentleman and I sent him a ggs, he turned out being a friendly dood.

 

So what, he beat you using 'scrub-ass beginner moves over and over'? If that's the case, it's your fault for losing to it. If he's being repetitive, he's easy to beat - if he's using mix-ups, he's playing the game. The way someone plays is not a reason to call them out for 'bad games'. Hate that mentality.

All good. We all get frustrated losing to stuff we know we should be able to handle. Shrug it off and whoop him the next time you see him.

This guy never fights me, but it's probably because of our connection.

 

Played this one earlier today. Not only did he dc right as the last hit made contact, but he lagged at the most convenient of times during the entirety of the match.

Avoid this guy, not worth the effort.

 

The guy is a 5 moves of Doom-style Vanessa. WOuld love to see a decent Vanessa such as Zero-Chan or someone better just tear him apart. I don't have much problem with him, but I don't play Vanessa (I'm probably the only person on this site who folks don't want playing their character!)

 

My point is/was that a person can choose to play in whatever style they like. There are no rules about what is or isn't acceptable - each character has a moves list and the user is there to decide which to use. If this person is having success with his five moves of doom, good for him - either it's a strong strategy that works, or it's shallow and easily beaten, in which case it will fail.

I don't like people calling other people out for how they choose to play the game, or trying to make out that it's an offence akin to disconnecting, using lag-switches, or sending hate-mail after losses.

 

There is no 1 way to play VF so why is this such an issue, if you don't like what they do then refuse to play them the second time around and that is that. Don't bad mouth them for being simplistic or whatever just move on. Why do we expect so much from people on VFDC honestly just play your game the best way you know how and don't linger on the matter if they happen to play in a style you hate. Just let the hate roll off and keep moving forward that is all we can do in all honesty.

 

I"m not saying it isn't acceptable- I'm guilty of using 5 moves of Doom myself (but given how Jeff is, sometimes you have to play that way).

My rule of thumb: you beat 5 moves folks by using 6.

I can't speak for everyone else, but does he know no one cares about his rank but him? The guy's been a dragonclaw or whatever for months now. And that's mostly because no one plays his ass, because leaves when he's about to lose. I had the guy beat two to one and he disconnects right when about to win. Then he chases you room to room trying to play me again. I'm like dude fuck off. You do that crap to me, don't bother looking for a rematch. Ever.

 

I get the feeling you missed all of his drama from the past few weeks. We've all been through this already, please don't post about BBS (SNAKE BOSS). He's not worth the time.
