PSN Bad Games

On this note I wonder if any of you play a brad players named Greenlight with some random numbers after it but the exact numbers escape me at the moment. His lag tactics aren't as obvious as Blazetwists but I have noticed how some times your ability to fight him degrades over time the better you do against him. I resort to using Pai fastest pai spam to counter it and it works somehow since he doesn't defend very well. He is actually a decent brad actually if the random lag I think he is causing wasn't always helping him so much. Many people I have seen play him aside from me can't get their moves to come out as often they want when they play him and yet when he is winning there isn't a major issue with random lag at all I find that hard to believe sometimes. I am not one to call people out honestly out of respect for them but this guys keeps hunting me down each time I beat him and if I play using any of my normal non spamming tactics they don't come out like I want them to. Have any of you faced him and had the same issue as well I am getting tired of it personally.

Hey domuag I don't know if you recognize me but greenlight is my real brother and the reason why it lags is because I'm using it as well so if it gets laggy I'm probably using it

 

I don't know anything about lag tactics, but Greenlight was my first ever BG back when I first started the game. It was the very day that I learned my first real Pai combo (the one that I still use today: 3K+G, 6K+G, 2P, WS P+K, P), and he berated me for about five minutes over the mic, insulting me XBL-style. He called me a cheater and said that I was small-minded for using the 'same move' over and over again, and asked if I felt good for beating up a beginner, haha. I said that I actually enjoying showing beginners the ropes and that, if he had told me that he wanted a 'practice match,' I would have happily done so, but that, otherwise, I play to win.

When our turn queued up in the room, again, I asked if he wanted a practice match, but he just cussed me out, so I whupped his ass, again, and then he rage-quit, saying that he'd never play the game again, haha. Since then, I've avoided him a couple of times when I've seen him in rooms, but I was surprised to see how much he's improved when I fought him a couple of days ago in Raze--'s room, although he still rage-quit when I beat him.

He's a jerk, and a BG'er whether or not he artificially induces lag. I wouldn't recommend playing him.

[EDIT] greenlight456 confronted me on the PSN about this message, asking what the big fuss was about. He assured me that he's never owned a mic and that I must be thinking of some other greenlight-with-numbers-at-the-end, which is possible, considering that he must not be the only 'greenlight' on PSN. I don't remember exactly what numbers succeeded the handle in my anecdote, but I've avoided greenlight-anything since that incident.

I wouldn't want for greenlight456's reputation to be marred because of something that another greenlight did.

 

i've played you a lot online actually, solid Kage. i have two brothers who share an internet connection at the same time most days (VF4Efan, who's a member here but doesn't post nearly as often as i do, and KyotaWuskers on XBL). i don't blame him now for being a bit laggy. it's happened to me quite a bit because my brothers would play online too lol

 

Hey, what a coincidence, haha. Who would've thought that my backstory would tie into yours, since I just met you on PSN! I really enjoy our matches, but your brother is a dick. VF has a community such that I rarely, rarely ever even get hate-mail, and he's the only guy that's ever really, openly, harshly insulted me over mic just because I kicked his ass.

[EDIT] According to your brother, this is a misunderstanding, and he's not the 'greenlight' that I'm thinking of. In that case, I mean no disrespect, and I wouldn't want for anybody to think that greenlight456 is a mega-douche just because of something that some other numbered greenlight did to me a long time ago, haha. He doesn't send me hatemail but he makes it clear he wants rematches when I beat him and rage quits after I beat him once or twice as well. It is clear that is he is really salty about losing too. There is no reason to get salty over a few loses we all lose all the time but he seems to take it personally each time I beat him. Is that how he is all the time?

 

Here are my personal experiences on "lag tactics."

Round 1: match runs smoothly, like you were playing Single's CPU/Story match - everything comes out on time. Then Round 2: feels like someone pressed the "slow button" on a VCR or DVD Player. How slow it is may vary. OR....in the next round the match "skips" like a bad cassette.

Input delay: you press punch but instead of the usual 0.5 seconds it takes to come out it takes 2 seconds.

If you want a first-hand experience just make a Room Lobby and let Blazetwist join you. I promise all you need is to fight him. ONE. TIME. He clearly doesn't know if he wants to be 1, 2, 3, or no bars. Matter of fact, talk to Raze---, he got lagged out so bad he couldn't even move for an entire round.

Lag tactics aren't limited to just VF, most likely if you play other genres you'll see it more. It was especially bad in the FPS realm.

One or two Akiras really put me into my place tonight. Tried even mirror and still got owned. Perhaps the other was kinda a good game but it made me feel bad about the fs Akira changes. That 3P+K 7+ on nh, 13f DE and abare options piss me off.

 

BG's to brodiman, what a sore loser LOL. I devastated him a few times with Jeffry then all of a sudden he just 2p's only for a few rounds haha. After I cleaned up that trash I left the game ofc, very disappointed he's part of VFDC.

Also bg's to elite, your wolf was on stronger roids than mine and couldn't handle your onslaught as a result.
I still say we have equal lau's though.

 

Sadly I Experienced Facing Blazetwist Yesterday... Moving All Matrix Like. Dropping Easy Combos. And He DCd On Me, Dollomite, And Anime... The Match Was Just Awful Lol

BG to Czech_Legend. What a fucking asshole. He beat my El Blaze (first time I used him) with his Jacky spamming 9 and grabs. I told him he'd never beat my Jean, after which he told me to go RAPE MY DEAD MOTHER and has ducked me since then. Caught the fucker on my alternate account though .
I know him from Tekken, where he boosted his way to the top 20 with a mashing, grabwhoring Eddy. I'm 14 ranks lower than him (not numbers, but names) and I beat him every time, as long as he doesn't DC...
