I would really like to know if I buy the Japan version of VF5, that it will have english text and voice on my US PS3. This question is killing me, someone help me!

Whats the deal with the 10th anniversary version of this game being cheaper than the regular version? The 10th version has more content correct?

You dont need 2 PS3s. Just two monitors and an HDMI or component video splitter. I've done this with my setup.

This question is answered in the FAQ -- which is this very thread that you're replying in -- under the Language Settings section.

    Please read it carefully.

Yeah, the word "APPEARS" is in the sentence which means there could be a possibility of it not having English in the Japan version.

I read the original the first time but still did not seem satisfied with the word APPEARS in the sentence.

I said "appears" since the information was based on a final build provided to the media, and not the final release version. I can't guarantee that it, or anything else, won't change in the release version, hence my cautious tone.

But you know what? That's the best information at hand to date, and it will have to do you until the game is officially released. No amount of asking or begging will help you in the meantime.

Many consider that the feature set was essentially frozen in that final build. Take that for what it's worth.

I think the joysticks are genius. They're expensive as hell, but that's to be expected. This is a really nice set up.

Gosh I really hope they fix that problem about not being able to transfer your profile to another person's system.

Do you know if VF5 will support online updates and patches?

    - Sega announced that Virtua Fighter 5 for PS3 will support hard drive installation to reduce disc loading time; the game will be released in Japan on February 28.

    Source The Magic Box .com

I hope the delay is not true but the fact that you can install the game is awesome

Every other site (including the official Sega site for PS3 VF5) still says Feb. 8 for Japan. Magic Box probably mixed up the dates with the US... I hope...

Hey guys -- is there any way to officially confirm that the Asian version will be released on February 8? I'm worried that Play Asia somehow fudged that date up.

I think it will be released on the 8th. There are copys for sale on ebay already. I can't vouch for their them being legit but they are up for sale. I also contacted one of the sellers and he said they have US and Japan versions of the PS3. He also said that the game is selectable in English on the with the Japan version of the game.

Whoa, that's wild. So there are already copies from HK already out? Darn. I wish Play-Asia would ship out the preorders on Monday already. The eBay copies are a bit more expensive though, and with airmail shipping would probably arrive at the same time (or even later than) if you ordered from regular online stores anyway.

It's good that the game may actually be already out. Just a little bit more, people...

    Its out already-_-;

For some reasons, korea doesnt have the game. Taiwan, Hongkong and SG have it in local stores. Not sure about the other countries though.
