President Bush going down?

Everything, of course, depends on how things unfold (or unravel) in Iraq. If we continue to lose one or two soldiers a day, as well as half a dozen casualties, Bush will be in serious trouble. It's also true that this White House has been given a free pass by the press for just about everything until now. Nobody wants to be critical and unpatriotic, mind you.

It also matters how the Democrats plan to campaign for 2K4. If they continue this wierd policy of self-immolation (foolishly believing that any centrist candidate won't be struck with the "liberal" tag by the GOP), they may find that their nominee is too weak to offer any resistance. Remember the 2K2 midterms? The Dems strategy was, essentially, side with Bush. For some reason, the voters didn't reward them at the polls.

We'll just have to see. There are still plenty of scandals brewing at the Bush White House (the outing of a CIA operative, for instance), and it's only a matter of time before people start smelling the smoke.

First of all, it is NOT Bush's fault for AID's in africa...it is our fault for sitting by while the country kills itself.

Next he'll say, "I wish I could speak African, to communicate better with those people."

Did anyone hear his latest news conference ?

I believe he said something like, 'the people in the(sic) California need to make their own decision in this reelection'

And he's really good at sidestepping the questions and going off topic. He even made some comment about how he was 'pleased' that the Palistine's (sp?) Head of Finance was educated at the University of Texas.

    I cry for my country.
