You are SO welcome! What a beautiful day. Decisive win. Time to get to work. So good. So good.

the only thing that pisses me off is that the only people in the world who want to assassinate obama are in our own country.

honestly, think about that. the only country in the world still too ignorant to accept a black president is our own (though if his election is any indication, this is changing).

    margin's pretty close.

fucking neocons in northern norcal have pushed this shit way too far though, so who knows at this point. but, even if it does pass, i'm sure it'll be taken to the state and eventually the federal supreme court to have it overruled.

but come on guys, you have to feel for conservatives tonight. we elect a muslim socialist black terrorist for president and we can't let them have one bill in one state so they can sleep at night knowing that gays aren't getting married?

OMG Priceless! I think I almost passed out from laughter after reading this. It's just to funny and the killer instinct plug just makes it that much funnier.

America... It's time for change! As someone stated it's pretty fucking sad that this country is the only country that would ever want to take this man down. Well I am praying for that not to happen and hope he has a wonderful first term that breeds not necessarily outstanding results, but at least points this country in the right direction. Everyone knows that the task at hand that this man will be trying to accomplish is not going to all get handled in one term. But when I hear this man speak with so much confidence and without NO hesitation on whatever topic is thrown at him I can not help but feel he... no that's not right, I can't not help but feel that WE America will make it and right what is wrong so everyone here and around the world can find the promise land!

Thanks you all who voted for change!

I believe with most of Obama's plans, so in a way the right man won the election and I think America will be better off for it.

After seeing that picture Flash posted I have realised that I still have to look at 4Chan's response.

    Wish me luck.

Thank goodness for the mortgage crisis.

Apparently "republicans" can take away 700-year-old civil liberties & still get re-elected, but if they have the misfortune to be in office when the economy goes to shit, their ass is getting run out of town on a rail . . .

Just to take a poll on the politics thread....has anyone's mind been changed towards or away from a candidate through this thread?

It is my experience that the more someone wants to tell you about thier political preferences, the less they want to hear about yours.

I am very happy that Obama won but I really hope things him and congress can work together to make some of the things he was proposing get started as soon as possible. Obviously it would be impossible to tackle all the things obama talked about but all eyes will be on him from january 20th and if nothing really happens in his 4 year term, you can bet the republicans will be using "lack of change" in their speeches come next national election.

I am still giddy. D.C was absolutely NUTS. If he can deliver on 1/4 of what he Promises he could go down as one of the most successful presidents ever.
