Lol the "B" is backwards! I bet she tried to do it in a mirror! hahahahahah

    The most ridiculous part:

"Todd told investigators that she suspected the man then noticed a John McCain sticker on her car, became angry and punched her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground and telling her "you are going to be a Barack supporter," police said in a statement."

Damn, it looks like some of the people that work(ed?) for ACORN fucked up, big time:

    http://www.nypost.com/seven/10102008/news/politics/1_voter__72_registrations_132965.htm

Looks a little shady to me but I don't think that ACORN are just victims here anymore. Either some of the people that worked for them screwed them royally OR they knew about these shady allegations and looked the other way... hmmm, somewhere in the middle of all this b.s. lies the truth. Hopefully the FBI reveals the truth and not another shady, government ploy /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smirk.gif

Tony, the NY Post is a right wing propaganda organ owned by Rupert Murdoch. Acorn pays people to collect voter reg. Some people may submit multiple reg forms to get paid more. These do not translate to people voting twice. That is why we never hear about people getting busted for voting multiple times.

The GOP wants to throw out all the ballots of people who have voted early in Ohio. They are using this ACORN shit to try and make their case. THEY ARE TRYING TO DISCARD THE LEGALLY CAST BALLOTS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE. States have established onerous id requirements for voters that disproportionately hurt minorities. Since poor minorities move around more, they are more likely to have voter registration and Identification that is not up to date. By making these laws, the GOP can keep a certain percentage of highly Democratic populations from voting.

These laws are not made in response to voter fraud; there are virtually no cases of voters committing voter fraud. The absence of voter fraud cases is the reason that those US attorneys were fired - they refused to go along with the Bush justice Dept's orders to file spurious voter fraud charges against people. Bush wanted these phony cases made so they could pretend these id laws were justified.

The fact that they are trying this shit in Ohio so recently after getting busted over the attorney firning scandal tells you how desperate the GOP is. They see black people voting and the think "Oh no, how do we stop this!"

Tony, the NY Post is not worth the paper it's printed on.

Someone should find the clip where McCain is in Jack Murtha's District and totally screws up talking about how Murtha called his constituents racist. I am too busy to find it, but it is hilarious. I watched it like 10 times.

Not exactly a person that "voted" twice, but arrested for election fraud - Alberto Russi. An election fraud in the 1997 Primary Election for Mayor of Miami, Florida.

I agree that Republicans are using ACORN for there own political agenda. In the end, ACORN may be clear of any wrongdoing, but it is a FACT, and not assumption, that ACORN has issues. Even Democrats would admit to that.

BTW, as much as the NY Post is a conservative media...isn't Huffington Post, very much a liberal media!? /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif .

The venue is less of an issue. Greg Palast is a journalist for the BBC. Robert Kennedy is a person with some integrity. Neither of them are hacks.

Naming one guy who voted twice reinforces the rarity of voter fraud.

ACORN is the victim. They get defrauded by lazy canvassers. Those phony applications have nothing to do with anyone trying to use subterfuge to undermine the integrity of our electoral process.

If a lazy canvasser turns in a reg form with Mickey Mouse on it, Mickey Mouse does not show up o Election Day to vote.

No one is saying voting fraud is common, it happens though. The person/event I mentioned, actually resulted in a different outcome to the election.

Do you honestly think that all the phony applications are "Micky Mouses"? I don't know and I am quite sure most of us do not know, except for the little amount of factual information we get from the popular media and mostly political propaganda from both Republicans and Democrats. What I do know is that dozen of states and the FBI is investigating ACORN.

Sure, ACORN is the victim...just as much as Brittney Spears was a victim to the media. They still have issues. To what extent is it, I guess we will find out in the future.

If voter fraud is real and is widespread enough to worry about, then why was the White House pressuring REPUBLICAN prosecutors to pursue voter fraud investigations even when the prosecutors told the Bush Justice department that there were no laws being broken? Why were those U.S. attorneys fired again?
