I was eating shoulder rams like a hobo at a soup kitchen, yummers! I also noticed in my mind that I can't accept to this day the non-counterable moves from akira even though it's programmed that way. (i.e. 336p+k, 666p, 336p-p<I know you can evade after 1st blocked>, 66p+k-p<I know you can evade after 1st blocked>). I know it's a disadvantage situation, but your sabaki can eat me up for mids. Definetly need more exp in this department. Nevertheless, good shit and keep it coming.

 

I would like to ask Plague and The_feauchA and other great akira players featured in this thread something related:

I read that against akira it's recommended that vane opts for OS. But vane's DS can punish his shoulder ram. Sure the damage is not huge but it definetly throws off most of my opponents. So i can't make up my mind and wanted to ask you -- which one of vanessa's stances gives you the most trouble?

Howboutsum PA isn't plague I think it is his wife I think and I must say it is awesome to have a great female player I wish there were more of them of that high level.

HowBoutSum is my wife, Catherine. We only wanted one XBL account so we combined our names. She's only played VF5 online maybe three times. If you meet HowBoutSmPLAGUE online, it's most likely me.

Now get her online, i need more pai v pai mirror matches. BTW, does she always use that rising from crouch k so much? I rarely use it, if ever.

 

The use of her /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/df.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/p.gif + /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/g.gif as well with the particular attacks after that most people I know will never be hit by those attacks after that throw. That rising kick is something I use plenty too (bad habit) but I agree great pai mirror matches are always the best regardless as long as the pai player has decent skills with her.
