    There is nothing wrong with the netcode,but there is definitely something wrong with that connection strength icon.It is always either green nor gray. Sometimes even the mid level green connection have lag and stutter the game or slow it down making it unplayable. Those connections should never have had green icons. They should have been red. You never see any red or yellow connection icons, yet a lot of player have crap connections of that level.

    It has gotten a such that I can't trust the net connection icons,and have to make a list of the laggers to avoid. Also,when I select "same area" when I want to set my match-up range,I mean "the west coast" Not, The entire continental North America. You should be able to set a limit how far away from your home the matchmaking range goes. Also, you should be able to set search criteria for only searching ranks higher than you. I don't want to waste my time beating down 10th kyus in ranked mode.

    that 30sec timer between matches needs to be patched. I'd honestly rather play quick match with my friends rather than create a room.

    I've always maintained that it should show you the connection strength throughout the match.

    I think Tekken is the only game that does this?

    So, on PS3, I go to players met, and it shows a list of people I played in Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. Come on, it's 2012, can we get that thing working, please?

    I didn't know there were games in this day released that didn't use the feature... I want that patched in!

    Tekken and Soul Calibur show you the live connection status online.

    I wish the connection icon would refresh, because sometimes I meet people with supposedly good connections and then it pauses in the middle of the matches, which totally throws off all timing of everything.

    I only want to see a few things patched:

    During Local & Online Vs. show the win streak as well as Champion/Challenger info above the health bar. It's present in the previous console versions and in the current arcade build, so I see no reason for it to be omitted.

    As mentioned earlier, allow us to choose which BGM we want for each stage in the options somewhere. If we aren't going to have the choice to do it during the loading screen (like in the arcade), let us decide how we want to customize our game.

    If for whatever reason Sega can't do that then depending on which BGM setting we have, let the character select BGM reflect our choice in the music settings.

    - Remove player mode and only keep room mode.I think it's not a good thing for the game to spare people who play a similar mode.

    - Let people join the room even if a match has begun

    - Something has to be done with the timer, 20 sec timer would be perfect, make it skippable by both "entry" players.
    No need 5 additionnal sec, 3 sec will be fair at least.


    > Score + cool additionnal stuff

    - Add score indications, win streak for all mode (i can't believe sega forget to put this feature in player mode and room mode, that just unacceptable), may be ratio, appealing line, title/pic title.

    > Training mode

    -Invite friend as 2p players
    Save the setting of training mode


    > Replays mode

    - Hide/toggle result match (i dont like beeing spoiled)
    search player name option

    - Add a mode to show a bunch of match to a friend (i know it's possible but a lil tricky)

    - Option to skip or come back to the first or second round. Minimize the size of hud.

    - Record/export 2p/1p imputs option for the training room [​IMG]

    > Add a tournament mode
    Couldn't hurt someone

    My votes go to more specific music options, a single or multiplayer tournament mode, and something to fix that ridiculous thing that prohibits one from loading his customization on another person's profile.

    Also, was anyone else mildly bothered by the lack of spaces in the character name? It also seems odd to me that the Special Sparring opponents have cute phrases, but I haven't seen an option to give funky quotes to my characters.

    They couldn't include that due to Xbox Live policy or something.

    Also if 30 second timer is going to be taken out they probably need to rewrite a lot of the netcode. It's there because you can't join during matches. I agree that it's annoying though. Especially if the room is full or private.

    They wouldn't have to change the netcode at all. simple , once both players hit ready,the timer should stop and no else can join.They can join someone else's room or make their own. It's really simple, both player matches and Ranked matches have 30 second timers also,the difference being you stop the timer once both of you hit "ready" . Other than that annoying timer problem this game is awesome.

    I would love it for offline versus if they would revert back to the post match setup they had in vanilla (Where both 1P and 2P can choose what to do next). Ideally I would love it if both players had to select rematch.

    Still, it's bleh, either way. Luckily, that's really as bad as my complaints get. Gameplay-wise, this is the most solid Virtua title yet.

    I agree, may be 20 second would be fair.

    Also when the room is full, the "hit ready" by both player should stop the timer so the rooms with a few number (2 to 4) of slot would be really faster. With a rematch option when the room is only setting for 2 players it would be perfect.

    In this case no need to spread people with a unfriendly additionnal player mode.

    That not too much of work for sega i think.

    Add a kick option for the host.

    It would be cool for people who bought a DLC to see the other characters even the ones you haven't bought the dlc. Because the datas are already on your hard drive and seeing all thoses customs you would be tempted to buy other packs.

    I have read the recent entry in this thread and about the online i'm not agree. Most of the suggestions don't help people to play the game.
    We already know it's not a mainstream game with a lot of player so why add an option to kick players you don't like ? To piss them off more ?
    Perhaps in two months it will be very hard to find players except if you have a good friendlist so why want to make harder to find room with a short timer ?

    And also i read someone which doesn't like the player mode and advice to remove it. Seriously ? This mode is perhaps the best thing if you compare to the others online game. Usually even in 1vs1 you have to choose if you make a room or join a room. If you join nobody can see you, if you create you have to wait that someone see you. SEGA have the good idea to merge the both choice in one. You can searh a room and someone can challenge you at the same moment. That help a lot

    Depending on how well the game sells, SEGA might be inclined to patch post-release, though I highly doubt it since there's no pressing issue at stake with the current build, and releasing patches on XBL/PSN is a very costly matter -- especially for downloadable titles (as opposed to full-price retail).

    Ok ok, The purpose of my suggestions wasn't to remove player mode but to improve room mode so that the player mode become obsolete. You're right about the 2 in one Search/join option of player mode, it's a cool feature i'd forget [​IMG] ANd may be it would be complicated to mix that feature in a better room mode (when ppl only make 2 slot rooms). Let the player mode but don't let the room mode like it is.

    About the kick button there nothing personnal about people, sometime it's usefull when some players are laging and doesn't want to leave. It's really frustrating when we are like 4 or 5 in a room.
