Thanks Mike..........that makes me even more happy.............i remember the first time i saw VF3 ...no person was looking or playing the game(still to much stupid people in the world.....they couldn't even apriciate those killer graphics...without mentioning the incredible gameplay-depth)......i took a chair... seated myself infront of the machine.....and watched the intro at least 5 times.......then i started to play each character(playing one more time with my favourite characters)....believe me during that time there was noone else who watched or wanted to play the game.................still fantastic remembering those times, i guess we will never see a such huge leap in terms of graphics again..........

brumm,brumm,brumm,....must be quite an expierience to participate in the java tea cup(?)-tournament....and beiing so sucessfull...........

I don't agree to that.........allthough there were different versions of model 3 (step 2 ) if you compare some games and watch the game very close (scud race.....i look at the game every week at least 13 hours!!!)you see that there is a lot off blurring ( the textures are very poor on information........it almost looks like my beloved N64)...............look at soul calibur or virtua tennis or compare model3 virtua striker 2 with naomi virtua striker 2............i think that a lot of people on these posting page are having the same opinion..........look at my posting below...............(in our arcade we have a lot of model 3 games ....star wars triology...daytona 2...emergency ambulance, jurassic park,......which gets completly outclassed if you compare it with house of the death 2(amazing textures)............i think it's not only the amount of pixels(blurring) but also all the new graphic effects which were introduced with Power VR 2(bump mapping,.....)..........

brumm,brumm,brumm,.............still hoping that naomi 2 is a worthy sequel of the allmighty model 3 board........R.I.P(1996-2000)

your method of comparison is crap. you can't compare virtua pong to scud race. you can't compare hotd2 to four other games which, just by looking at it, have entirely different poly counts, lighting systems and graphical effects. you're comparing naomi to dc to dc to model3 here and there. you're comparing apples to oranges to kumquats. and.."blurry". how descriptive.

from personal experience, the only area which i have seen the DC do better than model3 is in transparencies. the rest: textures, sound, lighting, poly count, have either come close or have been severly lacking. the DC will never equal or best any of their model3 counterparts in whole. it's just not going to happen.

sorry , maybe you didn't understand...but i only wanted to compare HotD2 with Jurassic Park Lost World.........and VS2(model 3) with VS2(naomi)..............at least the last comparison is very appropiate.........i don't want to follow this discussion i'm collecting a lot of interviews......and in this interviews ,the programers did talk about this lacks of the respective hardwares......still if you don't believe me ............maybe you can talk with mister Hiroshi Katoka who should be an expert in Naomi-model 3 comparisons or maybe Genki(VF3tb,VS2).............they can tell you the truth and nothing exept the truth........

    brumm,brumm,brumm,..........R.I.P(model 3 1996-2000)

Only to tell you Mr.Katoka is responsible for the home translation of FV2(Model 3>dreamcast) and Genki was responsible for the home versions of VF3tb and Virtua Striker 2 .........

brumm,brumm,brumm.....no way you can stop me!!!!!!!!!!!!
