Something tells me that the weapons based fighter that AM2 is working on, is going to be next Fighting Vipers game.

Actuallly, anything that I played in the arcades before SF2 came out. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif unfortunately I can't remember many of those games right now.

I'm going to give my standard reply and say ICO and Mark of Kri for PS2. Ico is probably one of the most artistic and clever games ever made, but because it didn't have replay it ended up largely ignored.

Mark of Kri was good fun but not everybody got it. And for selfish reasons I'd say any game from Namco that features a tiny character drilling, gets no respect in the US.

Shadow over mystara rules.... I just wish they would remake it for ps2. Guess I can settle for Kaillera for now.

Best NES game ever? RIVER CITY RANSOM. Nuff said.

How about Last Bronx, what do you all think about that game?

Last Bronx was a very cool game. It wasn't too long ago I heard they were going to do a next-gen remake/sequel of it for PS2 I think. Maybe this is the weapons-based fighter that Sega is working on. /versus/images/graemlins/laugh.gif With the exception of Virtual On I think Last Bronx is my favorite AM3 product. I still have the PC version somewhere. Might have to break it out and fire up my L33T Yoko skills again now. /versus/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I am not sure, but isn't ICO as well as MoK getting a sequel?

Mark of Kri 2 is rumored to be in development and ICO 2 is definitely being developed now. I think IGN or Gamespot had some ICO 2 screenshots up awhile back.

IF you think that replicant writes too much, take a look at how many posts other members have, expecially Creed, he has like 3 and a half thousand posts.

And, this thread could interesting in like a year, becuase one thing most video game developers are doing now, is going back and making sequels to very old games:

    -Contra
    -Rygar
    -Vectorman
    -Dungeon (Siege?) 3D
    -and many others..........

There is an Ico sequel in the works, called Nico. There will be no MOK2, it didn't even sell enough to become a greatest hit.

  17. [6_]how bout....... uh? Final Fantasy 7,8,9,10,10.5[4_]

All though those are great games, the tittle reads "One hit wonders and underappreciated games." And I think the FFs don't fit in either catagory...

    My choice? Super Spike V-Ball!

    Game on,

Evil Zone! A very cool anime fighter for the PS1. One of my fave fighters of all time. Not many people know about it, but once I lend them the game, they think it's pretty damn cool. /versus/images/graemlins/grin.gif

since u ppl have resurrected this thread..

ill go with one of the greatest rpgs of all time ---> the Shining Force series for Sega? I know some of you have heard of it... i think its much better than the FF series at that time... (if there was an FF series, not too sure).

good news is that its getting a remake for GBA =)
