Ill keep you posted. I really want to go but I am going EVO in August and then probably doing something for my bday in october and then also flying back to Atlanta to see my family in Nov/Dec. I will be there for sure. I already took the days off, just need to figure out where I am staying. It sounds like it will be a real blast, I'm amped.

Sounds like a cool event to go to. If this is anything like the SoCal event I went to earlier this year then I'll try to go.

I just need to know which airport is best to land at, and what is the going rate for the hotel rooms? Will we need a taxi? Sounds like a lot of questions, but this would help in determining overall costs and will help anyone landing by plane whether it's in their budget or not. I've never been to NY so it would be an excuse to go. Maybe even posting details about airport hub/hotel price on the first page so other people can know as the event draws nearer would be nice.

A quick look for booking a flight from Phoenix costs around $450 round trip, plus hotel costs, food and other things (trip to Times Square would be cool, other random stuff), so overall my best guess for me is probably $650 - $800 plus for everything, kinda a lot, lol. We'll see what happens.

 

i might be able to go (money permitting) but i will need a place to stay.

 

i gotta try and book my vacation during this week of september. gonna take the train from ri to nyc($50 to $100 amtrak) , need transportation from nyc to riverhead (taxi maybe??)and a place to stay. i hope my job give me the vacation i cant miss this opportunity
