Re: NYG7 "GO THE BALLS OR DO GO AT ALL" Sept. 4-7,

Had an incredibly fun time there. First event I've ever been to for any fighting game, and I must say I'm completely hooked. I hope that says enough as to how great NYG7 really was. Thanks to Adam for all that. Props to Rodney for giving away all that cool shit, everyone respects that for sure. And thanks for that cool as option-select fuzzy guard trick, I'll try to put that to use for sure.

ShinobiFist and Shag: Thanks for pointing me in the direction of the next big event. After 7 hours of travel back home I immediately checked out the when and wheres. (That's how much fun I had ) Hope I'll see you guys there.

Oioron: Thanks for all the tips on my game, learned a lot from you that last day. Keep on TFTin fools.

Air Jacky: Thanks for the place to stay bro. Nice meeting ya. Remember I owe you $10, I'll get it to ya sometime /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/thumbs_up.gif

Tonyfamilia: You get my vote for funniest man of NYG. You had me in stitches half of my stay there. I was dying when you were singing "Adam-yuki" for like 3 minutes at lunch to try to get his attention. Then someone chimed in with "That's how focused he is during matches". /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Had a great time, was nice to see all the faces behind the names, you were all cool guys. Hope to meet you all again sometime soon. See you on XBL /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cool.gif

I guess you guys didn't enjoy me, Glory and Jason's company enough for us to get any shoutouts, oh well. I had fun meeting most of you for the time I was there.

Me vs. AdamYUKI is probably boring without crowd noise : P. Is my streak gone? It is isn't it : (.

Re: NYG7 "GO THE BALLS OR DO GO AT ALL" Sept. 4-7,

Time to go the balls and crank this epic post out! Yeehaw! Gona put it in the spoiler tag so I don't arpe your window each time you view this page.

The list order is determined by the confirmation list on the front page. No the amount I write about you has nothing to do with how much I like you/was impressed. Just recalling what I can. It also doesn't mean if I didn't write anything about you that I don't like you, I may have not spoke to you as much or am drawing a blank. If we talked and I didn't mention you, leme know! I'm more than positive I have something great to say about you given who all was at this event.

    <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Warning, Spoiler: <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">
Konjou Akira - You've had my respect since the SoCal event man. You're a well known vet in the US VF scene but you don't hesitate to help new players out and for that, you have my utmost respect. On top of that, you worked really hard to help make this event better and sacrificed giving up so much of your VF swag to make NYG that much more enjoyable. I know in one thread you mentioned not knowing whether you're gona be around in VF much longer, but I and many others certainly hope you decide to stay an active part of the scene and continue beating fools.

AdamSNOW - You sir, have perhaps the most respect from me that I'm willing to give out. I've never met such a class act, truly. And I'm not trying to be all up on top player's PPs or anything but really, how do you do it? How are you so beast, yet remain so humble and helpful? If anyone has the right to be cocky it'd be you, yet you refrain and remain fresh. You also worked really hard along with Konjou to make this as enjoyable for us as it could be. The taxi service, the arranging times for people to catch the train, the constant help offered, it's all so appreciated, you don't even know. I hope you too continue to play VF for a long time to come because I feel your presence in our scene helps boost everyone's game in one way or another.

CidKid - Wow, I had really bad preconceived notions of you man. I saw one video of yours way back and wrote you off as some mindless abare player whow as all hype and no skill. I couldn't have been any further from the truth I don't think. I disliked Blaze the most coming into this event, but watching you play him and hearing your strategy with him changed my outlook on him entirely. You're more than deserving of being labeled a top player in the US. No question. I can't wait to see what nasty stuff you come up with in R. It was kind of a joke there but also gota comment on how buff this guy is, yet he's so soft spoken. Like, real kind and gentle in his tone, but there's no question he could wreck you if you were to fight him irl haha.

Shag - Perhaps the most positive force I think we have in our community. I haven't seen someone sacrifice so much time/money to help our scene out as I have with him. Recording equipment, playing equipment (KEYCHAINS!!! Thank you!), you name it, this guy makes sure we have it for our leisure. He also has great taste in music /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif Another super vet who remains humble and helps the masses. Huge respect man. Can't wait till we meet up again.

Denkai - Denkai so fly. You're another I kinda wrote off cause my ego got the best of me. I use to think 'this guy should be better for how long he's been playing', but it was evident you're one of our top players without question, for many reasons. Ability to play much of the cast, matchup knowledge, and your raw ability to win. I know you said you're done with 5 till R, but if you got time I'd love to pick your brain to fill the holes in my game and polish up my overall play more.

HayatoWe didn't get to talk much but you seemed extremely friendly and upbeat, I respect that immensely. I also have to express thanks on behalf of ALL of us for managing those live feeds and capping so much media. I got to see a bit of your play but never got to play you. You had a fresh Goh from what I could tell though man. Keep it up! See you at the next gathering.

Oioron - The Higher Ninja. Love our talks man. From philosophy to you helping me get an introductory idea on photography to VF thought and play. I'm a bit jealous you saved sweedish chic and not me, but that's ok. Thanks a grip for taking so many pics and uploading them with the quickness. Wish you the best in everything you pursue with your photography (well everything lol). Also can't wait to see what you whip up with your ultra-creative Kage in R man.

DarkGift - Man, I played you once online and wrote you off. Your Wolf is really entertaining man. Like I said in the top Wolf thread, I think it's only a matter of time before you become a top player, especially in the Wolf department. For being one of the younger guys there, you've definitely got your head on your shoulders and could keep up with Tony and I's immature conversations hahaha. Hope to see you at the next one man.

Shinobi Fist- Here's one cool cat right here. I knew you'd be a cool guy before I even went to NY but talking to you only sealed that thinking. Really enjoyed some of our conversations man. Your energy is contagious, and was glad you were there cause of it. Your taste in music and knowledge in it is great too. I know the sets were in my favor when we finally played, but I really liked your Blaze man. I think our styles just clashed and it worked out for me. Only got to see your Wolf play, which I digged. Can't wait to see the nonsense (the good kind) you come up with in R with both Blaze and Wolf.

SDS_Overfiend- I didn't know what to expect from you going into this. But meeting you definitely put doubts aside. You're one cool cat man. Wish we got to play but that's more than fine, just our short talks made me realize you're a cool guy.

DaBadSeedSame deal as SDS. We didn't talk hardly at all but you had me rolling at some of the stuff you were saying during matches or after matches. Not sure what else to say since we didn't get to play or talk much, other than hope to see you at other gatherings man.

KoD - A.K.A. Amish Ninja. VF gatherings won't feel like VF gatherings without you, I just know it. Not saying that like you're leaving just saying. Your knowledge and witty humor make these that much more enjoyable. Thanks a grip for helping me with Blaze's PPP testing, I really enjoy that part of VF, and have a lot of respect for your ability to decipher stuff like that. I think you'll be beast in R.

Cozby - One of the young guns. We didn't get to play really but I've got a lot of faith in you man. Your Lei is gona shape into a beast, I'm sure of it. Your idea to bring the skate deck to sign it was awesome too man. You get props from me for wanting to be apart of the community like that. Keep doing your thing with your music/games/life. Look forward to seeing you at the next one.

KrsJin - Man, you really let me down with slacking on VF. But, you did learn a lot, and you got that fire to play the game you enjoy the most again. Let's see if you can focus your game and get the fundamentals down for next time.

Ladon - Another class act. With risking sounding homo, I enjoy being around your calm and classy demeanor man. You're always helpful and encouraging. Always. I really appreciated you picking me first to be on your team, that was quite the compliment. Really enjoyed our Sunday/Monday together too with Tony as I'll mention in his shoutout as well. I duno what I would have done without you two being there Sunday night/Monday morning. Like with KoD, these gatherings won't feel right to me if you and Tony aren't there. Also, your Blaze helped me appreciate Blaze more, just like CidKids. Just seeing the thinking involved with him really helped me appreciate him as a character again. Your thoughts and strategies on the game are always helpful/entertaining. See you at the next!

Tony Familia - T-Fam. Man, I can't keep up mentally with you. Like, you know the feeling when you play a long session with a skilled player in VF who makes you think and you feel worn out? Exactly how I feel with talking to you haha. You and Ladon are so contrasting to one another but seem to keep each other in check. Like yin and yang as gay as that sounds. But you two crack me up so much. Your constant beat down of humor paired with his occasional chime in to finish off one of your ally oops on a joke. It's too much hahaha. I know you were upset with your play at this tourney like me. But I see so much damn potential in you now, much more than when I saw your play at SoCal. Like we talked a bit about, focus on all the shit you do right, and acknowledge the stuff you do wrong, just don't dwell on it. You're gona surprise yourself and realize you really are a great player who's gona be beast soon enough. Your Lau and Brad are gona be damn good in R.

Air Jacky - Another super vet whom I have a lot of respect for. We barely got to play but that's fine. We made up for it with our talks and the train ride. You saved me on the transportation out to Riverhead. So yeah, you're kind of my hero. Not just for that though haha. You're an OG Jacky who has played with the best of the best and even if you haven't been big into 5 you have a wealth of knowledge on the scene/Japan and Jacky. Can't wait to see you again homie. Let's try and get games in online in the meantime.

Gentlemen ThiefWas crazy how we just randomly met up on the train haha. Glad we did too. I'll be saying the same for Gl0ry and Slide too but, you along with them to me, are the most skilled/strong of those of us who began with 5. You three have really fed off of each other's discipline and shaped up to be top players. I wish you guys could have stayed on Saturday as I think you would have enjoyed the trip more and placed really high in the tourney, but fully understand why you guys weren't able to. Keep it up man, your presence will make our community better as a whole.

Akira Zero- I really enjoyed that long session we had late on either Thursday or Friday, I forgot which haha. We were both really tired but those were great games. Your execution with Akira amazes me man. Keep that shit up! With your execution paired with Akira's new tools in R, you're gona be mondo-beast. Trust. We didn't talk too much but you were a really cool cat as well. Hopefully you can make it to the next gathering as well.

Chief Flash- First off, I want to apologize for stayiing on Team Heavyrape. I know I didn't pull my weight and it really contributed to our lack of motivation and team unity. But that said, I'm also really thankful to have been given the chance to do that. It was great experience for me to play along side of the greats and go up against the equally great. I know you were upset with your set against CidKid too, but leme tell you, that was the most entertaining thing there for me the whole weekend. Your Wolf still has my utmost respect, and so do you. And YOUR BELT WAS FRESH TO DEATH LMAO!! I'll get my game up on par for next time, and good luck at WCG homie.

Yummy Dango- Another young gun! Fking hell man, the amount of talent you have already is scary. Without question if you keep playing you will be a top player, if you aren't considered one already. Really glad you were able to go and we got to meet. I regret not giving up my spot to you in the team match but thems the breaks. You really impressed me. Your fundamentals, your approach with Akira, execution, etc. etc. Outside of the game you were super dope too man. Surprised you're so young cause you seem to know what's up.

Chefboy- Yet another one of VA's fresh players. I had a bad image of you from online misstranlsation way back but I'll be damned, you're one awesome guy. Really glad we met in person so I broke down that preconceived notion. Tony and I were talking about you and we had nothing but props to say. I didn't get to play you but your Van seems on the right path man. We need proper Van players, and I think you'll do more than fill that role. Can't wait to see how much better you become at the game on what you already are.

Terry Bogus- Another VA crew member who was awesome! We didn't get to play, we also didn't talk a ton, but I could tell you're a cool dood. Knowing what I do from the matches I saw, and knowing who you're able to play with at home, I have no doubts I'll be fearing you in the next tournament. Not really sure I have much else to say other than I'm extremely happy to know you're another member of this already great community and look forward to seeing you again man.

Slide- Man you have come so damn far so damn quick. Like I mentioned in GT's shoutout and will in Gl0ry's, I think it's safe to say you guys are the top three out of those of us who started with 5. Not only were those Pumas fresh, so is your game. Can't wait to see how much more you evolve in this game man, and hope to learn from you as time goes on. We didn't get to talk much but I got the vibe that you were a cool dood.

Auvii - INSTANT RESPECT!! There were players who live as close as you do or closer who didn't come. And you came knowing you could very well have to leave early. To me? That's extreme dedication and you deserve the utmost props as a result. Wish we got to play but we'll have another chance to do that. If our connection is good online we should get games in on there. You seemed like an extremely down to earth, cool minded guy. I was impressed in the short time I got to know you. See you at the next one man!

Kryptonix - Help me out! I feel horrible, but this alias isn't matching up with a face. I think I need a real name. Were you the guy who came with Auvii? I feel really bad. But if so, you seemed equally as cool man. Our trip to the gas station was a great kick-off for the day. I could see myself hanging out with you and Auvii cause you doods seemed proper. Shame we didn't get to play but like Auvii, we'll get another chance! Hope to see you again man.

VFNUMBERS!!! - I apologize if I seemd off when you put me out of the singles tourney, I wasn't upset at you in the slightest, just myself. I get like that. But enough of that. Your match with Konjou man. How's it feel to deliver one of the hypest matches that got the crowed going? I think a lot of us wrote you off for no good reason. Your offense and understanding is on point. Once you solidify the rest of your game... I don't even want to think how beast you'll be. Extremely kind/friendly/soft spoken. You sir, are awesome.

Fulan- Instant respect/props/etc. for taking such a huge trip over to play. That's more dedication than some of our players in the states! We had some great sessions man. Your Goh's on a good path. You definitely understand Goh's limits and strengths and apply them well. Your execution follows suit too. Outside of the game, I really enjoyed talking to you about the differences in cultures and just worldly stuff in general. Glad to see you made it back ok. And hope you'll be able to afford to come out again for the next one.

Johoseph- Another on point Goh player. I swear, I had no idea we had so many talented Goh players. I'm really glad you decided to take the dive and go to your first gathering, hope you feel the same in return. Cause this event was better because of your presence. Glad your room situation worked out thanks to Air Jacky and you were able to stay as long as you did. Don't think we really played much but I did get to see your Goh in action quite a bit. I was impressed man. Hopefully our connection online is good cause I'd like to play you more. Keep up the practice man! Look forward to see how much better you continue to get.

gl0ry- As brief as our conversations were, and lack of playtime, I'm really glad you were able to make it man. Really glad to put a face to the name and have gotten to meet you. As I've said above, I place you, GT and Slide above all of us that began with 5. Your guys' dedication and discipline has really paid off, it's very evident. Hope you guys stick with the game cause you make the US scene stronger, and are a bunch of cool cats. Hope to see you at the next.

THERE YOU HAVE IT FOLKS! MY HANDS HURT AND I"M STILL TYPING, IN CAPS NOW!!

Here's my challenge for everyone. Cause I truly enjoyed everyone's company I mentioned above, and fear I forgot a few names that weren't on that list. I want us to remain a close group and most importantly, I want us to improve as a group. I challenge you, the one reading this, to learn the game. Truly learn it. The shit that frustrates you, confuses you, turn it into a thing of confidence, something you feel comfortable with. Learn your movesets/setups/combos inside and out. Let's do this! I want the US to become top. I want us to be of level this time next year to realistically be able to have a team tryout for SBO. This is a dream that I am making a goal of mine. But it can't be done just by myself. I and others need you to up your game. It will make these gatherings that much more enjoyable too!

So with that, I thank you all for making it out and making my trip that much more enjoyable. I wish you each the best in your continued learning of the game, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, LIFE!
    </div></div></div>

Not even gona proofread this, as I gota get to class now lol. So hopefully I didn't slaughter anyone's name or anything, and if I did, I apologize.

Since my memory is shit, and I'm kinda drunk right now, I'll just send my big shout outs to everyone as a whole! I really enjoyed meeting all of you guys, playing most of you, and even beating some of you with a STICK! A FRIGGIN STICK! I think I may just try to learn how to play with one! I do have a few individual comments for some of you guys!

Konjou/Adam: Words not needed for you gentlemen. Konjou, thanks for the swag and I hope to see you at NYAF. Funny how we actually met all those years ago at Akira_Zero's place! Adam, enjoy the hat!

Akira_Zero: Thanks for just letting me know about this! I swear to you, it will NOT be another seven years before we see each other again! I figured you'd take more matches than me in our matchups, but it was just great to be able to play you again.

Cozby: KEEP THE PAD PLAYING ALIVE!!

VF Numbers: Thanks for letting me crash in your room!

I also want to apologize to VF Numbers, Shinobi Fist, Akira_Zero, Cozby, and Fulan especially for my EPIC snoring! I should've warned you guys about that!

Everyone will get a shotout from me regardless of wether you like/dislike me or even shout me out. I don't care /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
Obviously people who I chatted or played the most, I will remember the most but even if I didn't get to play you (Johoseph) or really chat with you much (Terry Bogus) I def got a lil something to say about everybody that showed up.

For the record, just for the simple fact that you showed up, you get props from me. Not bc my props matter or whatever but bc I'm that dude that gives props where props are due. That's my word.

I know this aint you, Lucky, you seem like a cool dude but for all dudes out there thinking this is a popularity contest or whatnot, lol, we're not in highschool people /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif
"I aint going to talk about dude cuz dude aint gonna say nothing about me" lmao. Yo, say how you feel and feel what you say. We're all men here.
Ima call it how I see it but I know to have enough respect to not just spit whatever comes to my mind knowing that it might offend. EDIT: Unless I WANT to offend and/or piss somebody off.
I'm still going to say what I want to say but Ima use my brain, put some semi-decent words together, construct a sentence or two and then Ima spit it. It only takes a couple of seconds.

To each their own though, I know some people too lazy to even show up to an event let alone put some thoughts together and write some shout-outs afterwards /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif

Yo thank you everybody who have been posting your feelings and feed back. I have a post / shout out that I have been working on the past few days, but I missed like 4-5 days of work(UNPAID /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif ) to be at NYG7 so I have a lot of things to catch up on. Hopefully I can finish it up tomorrow since I am off. It should be a great read for EVERYBODY!

Re: NYG7 "GO THE BALLS OR DO GO AT ALL" Sept. 4-7,

I've been prepping this for a couple of days now, there's a lot to say, and so many mad props to give. Awesome event, hands down, I had an absolute BLAST! Thanks for everyone who came out and made it what it was, even if I don't get to you, and thanks for everyone who was watching stuff on live-feed and just helping build the hype. I give this event a solid two-thumbs-and-two-fat-toes up!

<div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Warning, Spoiler: <input type="button" class="form-button" value="Show" onclick="if (this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display != '') { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = '';this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Hide'; } else { this.parentNode.parentNode.getElementsByTagName('div')[1].getElementsByTagName('div')[0].style.display = 'none'; this.innerText = ''; this.value = 'Show'; }" /></div><div class="ubbcode-body"><div style="display: none;">KoD-it's always fun hanging out with ya, and this time was definitely no exception. Your Jeff has improved a lot! It was great being able to talk to you more, hanging out on Sunday morning, and I agree with KrsJin that you bring a lot to these events. Our VF discussions always leave me with something to think about, and don't be so afraid of the Knee! ;D keep in touch bud!

Oioron-You're a really cool guy, it was great havin you around the whole weekend. Excellent ninja photography and ninja gameplay, haha! I notice you really turn it on in tournament time, I feel like I wasn't facing the real Monty when I fought you in casuals /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif Great sense of humor and attitude, I'm glad I got to know you better throughout the time there. Good luck in what you do man, keep up the DPoDs, looking forward to seeing you again!

Shag-We didn't get to chill or talk much this time around, but every bit of time is always a good time. I didn't play you in SoCal recently, so I hadn't realized how good your Goh had become! I wish I could see the tourney fight again, some crazy stuff went down, haha. And you out-did yourself with the shirts, what an awesome contribution to an awesome event! Thanks so much man. And mad props on the weight loss my man. We gotta chill outside the game for sure next time, & hopefully we can throw down some more too.

Denkai-Though I didn't meet Adam until SoCal this year, I knew of his rep as a player, & I gotta say it feels like you're the most-improved player of NYC hands down. Great style, set-ups, movement, momentum and observations, it felt like a train wreck the first time we played, I was honestly surprised to see that we had almost gone even. But it's hard to stop you when you're on a roll, and you played really well throughout. Next time we throw down, I promise it won't be so easy! Peace dude.

CidKid-As much fun as it was playing you, it's almost more fun watching you play. Intense mind-games mixed with over-the-top flare, your Blaze is on hell of a sight and a hell of an inspiration for me to go back to the drawing board with him. I had no clue what you'd be like in person, and it was super cool to see how calm, and at the same time, how passionate you were. GGs for real man, can't wait to play you again!

AdamYUKI-An absolute pleasure man. Now I see why Llanfair was laughing so hard when I misunderstood you on IRC to be a pompous dude. I can hardly think of someone more humble, more passionate, and more interested in having a great time and making sure everyone else had a great time. We didn't get to fight, but we did hug (no homo)! That's the kind of shit that makes this event so worth it to me. Playing the game is great, but meeting people that are just as passionate about it as you and making great friends just takes the fucking cake. Thanks for hosting, thanks for the hook-up, dude, thanks for everything, I can't even name all the things you did that were instrumental. You rock homeboy. And next time, you're the FIRST guy I'm playing... PERIOD! ;D

Konjou-What can I say that hasn't been said a million times before? Your passion for the game is intoxicating, and your love and devotion to the community is flat-out awesome. There was something very special about the item give-aways, and about your speeches on the podium, and your energy and excitement on every single match you played and were getting ready to play, whether you were were winning or losing. Your meticulous gameplay coupled with your rapid inputs made you a killer contender, I wish we could have played, but like Adam you're at the top of my list next time. Dude, I can't thank you enough for everything you brought to the event, thank you thank you thank you!

Dark Gift-I don't think we talked much at all, but you were the first guy I fought in NYG, and what a way to start with some hella fun matches. Sucks that I won't see you at the next event but it was great to meet you, you're a cool-ass guy. Good luck in the Philippines, and don't drop the game while you're out there!!

Gentleman Thief-dude, why did you gooooooo??? I only got to play you ONCE! it was a lot of fun though, your 15 win streak when Tony and I got there late on Thursday was impressive as hell. Wish you could have seen what I had to offer off-line, but hey, you're in Florida right? We gotta co-ordinate some sort of get-together, it would be awesome to get more hardcore games in with you man. Hope you enjoyed the city, and it was nice meeting you!

DaBadSeed- I can't think of anyone who was either bigger or louder the whole time I was there, or someone who made me laugh out loud so often. You're a riot man, haha, I wish I could have played your Pai but your Aoi was really good, I had a lot of fun playin you and listening to your stuff. Didn't get to SDS at all besides an introduction, but between you and Ak I can already tell SDS is one cool cat. See ya man, looking forward to the next time.

ShinobiFist-I had no clue what you'd be like in person, but the boisterous-woman-loving-Wolf-&-Blaze-playing-party-animal was at the BOTTOM of my list of expectations, haha. From the get-go when you came with Adam and Oioron to pick Tony and myself from the train station I could tell you were too cool for words, and though we didn't play, or even talk much, it was great to just listen to the stuff you were saying and watch you do your thing. Wish I coulda been there when you took people on a tour of NYC, I'm definitely not missin' out next time! It was a pleasure man, the next one can't come soon enough!

KrsJin-Had a helluva good time with you dude, Tony not so much though... What's wrong with that guy anyway? >.> Seriously though, can't say enough how awesome it was playing you in that intense first to 5, playing with you in the Team Tourney, chillin with you on and off and through Sunday night, and on the train back the next day. Shit was off the chizzle, for seriously! I'd go all jive on ya, but that's best done in person, haha. Oh, fuck, one more thing!!....*sits down* -- see ya next time bro, hopefully sooner rather than later!

Air Jacky-We didn't get to chat much, but I enjoyed our games quite a bit! Too bad I didn't get to fight you as Shun, I'm sure that shit would have been intense. Warm beer for the lose!! Take care man, hope to see you again soon!

Fulan-Surprisingly cool dude, and surprisingly decent player. Good range game and general offense, you've definitely got an interesting Goh. Glad you came to America! Hope to see you again man, and good luck handling that coke addiction ;D

Johoseph-I noticed you don't post much, and when you do it's usually on the GG thread, which explains why I had no clue who you were... sorry about that! You got noticeably better as the event continued, and though you were rather stoic throughout I'm glad you had as good a time as I did. Hopefully next time you'll break out of your shell a bit more, you seem like you'd have some cool shit to talk about. Keep it up man, thanks for coming out, and I'm looking forward to seeing you again at the next one!

subbers-Feirce Aoi man. An aggressive defense and offense, not really used to seeing that, it was a ball and a real challenge to play you. Good adapting and pressure games, I have no doubt that the next time will be just as rough! Oh, and nice to meet you too, haha ;D

Cozby-We only played a little and didn't really talk at all, but I could see that you're a cool kid that has a lot of cool shit going on. The skateboard idea was fun and different, too cool man, enjoy it! can't wait to see what you have in store for all of us next time, haha!

vf5395-the numbers are so easy to memorize I learned them just by seeing your posts and playing you once on XBL, haha, but honestly VFnumbers is way cooler, just because that WAS your name at the NYG! We've already talked since the event, but I gotta say again, great style and execution, I really regret no having played you while I was there. Next time I'm making a LIST and I WILL play everyone! ;D Take it easy man, good luck with the training, and don't stop leveling up!

Dango-I'm still thinking about our matches dude! Hella good executions, mind-games and set-ups, it was a BLAST playing you, no joke. Reversal-Throw-Escape ftw! You forced me to step my game up hardcore style, and I appreciate it a lot, I probably couldn't have done so well in the tourney were it not for our little session. Stay away from cookies that aren't tasty my man, and let's keep in touch! VA ain't to far from MIA, and we owe you guys from when we missed out last year!

Chefboy-Cool dude, cool stories, cool mindset. We didn't get to play, but you helped me level-up just with the talks we had. Man, FUCK conditioning! haha. Sounds better as a slogan than how it works in the actual game, but it's shit you gotta think about. We must've talked for over an hour, it was a lot of fun. PS3 baby! I'll see you in VA, I promise you, and we'll throw down then, no doubt!

Terry Bogus-Jeffry? For real? You mean you don't play Jacky with a red had and long ponytail? Nah man, just playin, a fiendish Jeff you got there, you had me freakin out after you stomped me in our first match. Really cool meeting you , I'm afraid to see what you'll be like after you've infused the stuff Denkai, Adam and KoD were doin'

Chief Flash-It was cool hanging out with you man, I remember when I saw your belt at the restaurant all I could think was "Is this real? Am I seeing this?" haha. You stomped me consistently, I gotta get better at throw escapes XD, though I was glad that you thought enough of my playing that you considered me as a team mate, that was really cool (and a little shocking considering how bad you whooped me up, haha). I felt we got to associate and play a lot more than last time, you're a cool ass dude, it was honestly a real pleasure with you man. Oh, and just change your username already.... you ARE Chief Flash ;D

tonyfamilia-Did you feel the real power? SO WHAT?! This is where you fall down! I'M TWICE THE MAN I USED TO BE!</div></div></div>

I WENT THE BALLS. AND SHE LOVED IT.

It's becoming obvious that I missed out on some awesomeness and bonding by not sleeping over... I had fun nonetheless. Please all, even if we didn't speak, feel free to hit me up on XBL. Playing VFDCers > playing the general XBL population.

    Part Two suckas!
Dango Your a funny dude man, I didn't get to play you at all, but your speed is crazy! When you use Akira. I'll get some games with you in the future.
ChefboyHad a blast talking to you at the event, We keep cracking jokes back and forth like we knew each other for a minute. Can't wait to go down to your college with Flash! and cause some havoc down there. And you was the only mofo styling up in there. Next time will play, and less talk, lol.
Fulan A very smart, and amazing person right here. One of the most positive person I met in a LONG time. Very open minded individual right here, but could get REAL hood in a second if you provoke him. Those Goh matches we had at my crib was fun. Next time I will show New York at a slower pace, lol.
Gentleman ThiefWe got to crack jokes at the end of the night, but your freaking Goh is retarded, you get away with so much murder is crazy! I couldn't do anything. I wanted to test my Blaze on you, put you picked Pai. We did have some Joysticks issue that was funny. Look forward to meeting you again.
Glory Didn't play him at all, but, did help me look for my chocolate chips on my muffin, lol. I got robbed, I only had one /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif . We spoke a few times. About your Joystick and other random shit, other then that, you seem like a cool dude. And had Adam on he's heel at one point....Until the Knee arrive, lol.
Hayato Your crazy teletubby motherfucker, Your fucking hype, I love it! Playing you makes the game so much fun. just like Cozby. I'll see you around you Asian girl hunter, lol.
    Part Three SOON!

Dude...it was sarcasm : P. But it did have a little bit of truth in there, I heard after the fact that people thought we were a clique(we had never met before that point) and didn't try to interact enough with other people enough. It really didn't matter to me if I got any shout outs or not.

The only train we could catch to get to the city in time was at 1:00. You guys happened to be gone at that time. : /. The train only ran 3 times that day from Riverhead.

I think Goh's an A-tier character, he's got alot of abusable things to work with, and I never get punished for blocked 33P either!

Re: NYG7 "GO THE BALLS OR DO GO AT ALL" Sept. 4-7,

It was great seeing old faces again and getting to meet new faces. I didn't get to play as much casuals as I wanted to and surely didn't get to play everyone and for that I apologize. Also, I apologize if any of you got the impression that I was holding back during casuals. I wasn't, I wish I know how I can seem to turn it on during tournaments because I want to play like that all the time. Because sometimes it doesn't turn on, case in point during the team tourney i didn't play up to snuff. It's part of the learning process for me and something I need to improve on. I'm very inconsistent with my focus.

I had fun meeting everyone and chatting and playing everyone however brief it was, the pleasure is all mine. See you guys in the next gathering.

Re: NYG7 "GO THE BALLS OR DO GO AT ALL" Sept. 4-7,

It was nice meeting everyone there at NYG. I enjoyed myself there and had positive conversations with everyone I talked to. The only suggestion I can really give is that in the future we do it in an area with more to offer. Eating mcdonalds/domino's for dinner 2 nights in a row along with pop tarts for lunch wasn't exactly a healthy diet :p

As far as why we left so abruptly, the main reason is because the train schedules are pretty lopsided in riverhead. We had to choose between 1pm and 6:30pm and for me personally, I wanted to be able to hang out (outside of the game) and check out the city and what it had to offer.

I have only been to NYC a couple of times in my life and wanted to experience it again... Gt and kungfu had agreed on wanting to go to the city as well. In addition to sight seeing it was also more convenient for us to be in the there before next morning so we didn't have to wake up worrying about catching the lopsided train schedule from LIRR back to NYC.

I heard some people took offense that we left, and the only thing I can ask is Where is the love? For me, there's got to be a fair balance between playing video games all day and being able to go out and do stuff on a special trip. We stayed in riverhead for the majority of the time we were in NY.
