In addition to the Singles & Random Team Battle tournies, i was thinking that we can expand the team "Rivalry/Exhibition Matches" into another quick & dirty tourney.

Initially, Heavy Rape vs Switchnation was going to be a rivalry/exhibition battle, but i think it would be a great idea to turn this into a Team-of-Your-Choice Battle Tourney[/size] - where many people can participate.

Of course, this depends in how much time we have available, and i was thinking that this can be held on Saturday late evening - after the Singles tourney.

Also, people would need to deliberate and form teams rather quickly.

I spoke to Glory and he wants to team up with Gentleman Thief & Slide (Action KungFu). Wow - this is a fucking l33t team!

That's 3[/size] tournies, which will be tough to accomplish, but if we are efficient and everyone cooperates, we can do it!

What do you guys think?

How is the first team tourney being done this time? We doing it like in SoCal with captains and draw of hat to see who picks or another way?

Also. Will there be any play or anyone staying most of the day on Monday? The way my flights work, I'll be there most of the day on Monday too, incase anyone wants to play more or whatever.

 

Hey Krs! You're right, we shouldn't hold it right after the Singles Tourney, as everyone will be drained. Hmmmm...We'll have to think this through.

Yes, the first Team Tourney will be done EXACTLY like SoCal - with Captains having to pick out of the hat. I think it's a lot of fun.

Most people will be leaving on Sunday, but i imagine some are staying (?) If so, you guys should be able to play in your hotel room if the conference rooms isn't available.

If possible, please bring Xboxes, VF5 discs, and sticks!!![/size] I know it's a lot to carry, but it would really help. Given the amount of people that showing up, i fear there may be a shortage of systems.

If you notice that you are the last person leaving the conference room, please make sure to go over to the Front Desk of the hotel and ask them to lock up the room. Conversely, if you come to play in the morning and notice that the room is locked, go over to the Front Desk and ask them to open up the room.[/size]

There will be a lot of equipment in there (TVs, projectors, Xboxes, etc.) and we all need to be proactive, sensible, and careful about making sure shit does not get taken (by random hotel guests, etc.)!

Let's work with the Front Desk to ensure things go smoothly.
