How come i'm the last person to have posted in this thread, more than a month ago? The NY crew have been streaming regularly and i've been watching their vids religiously. Props to you guys, thanks for the streams!

Hey my dudes, I don't play VFFS hardly at all but I was thinking about having a VF tournament at the GameBridge monthly at Dave and Busters in May. Would you all bring the heat?

Just FYI Cozby, if you @ tag people, only 1st to 5th person get notified, the rest of the tags is ignored. VFDC is set like that.

Have fun dude would love to have played but my sis is getting married this weekend. Also just a heads up to cats. We knew about kyasao months before he was showing up so we all could mobilize. NY is fast pace place but with enough lead time most people can work with you.

I went to play 3s. We got there around 2pm and left at midnight. The turnout was more than we expected.

I got a chance to sit and play a shit ton of sets with Nica. His dedication to 3s is pretty unfathomable; it's worth it to play people that are willing to learn/share/do everything it takes to be not only the best, but also the best they can be. I would never turn down an opportunity to mash and talk with them.

I don't think there's anything wrong with playing whatever you want, or however you choose. But it's a duty to oneself to approach games realistically, and to always be honest about your own dedication and execution. There should never be a point where it's okay to make your own rules, or decide what's allowed to happen. Fighting games are not 1 Player role-playing games. You can't live in a fantasy.

But yeah I had fun. Apparently I have no clue how to fight Necro :/

 

I see you enjoyed 3rd Strike, glad you did. Sorry I could not make it, you kinda gave me a short notice. I work overnights Thursday through Monday so it's rough making it out on nights that I actually work. By the way that 3rd strike you played on the cabinet belongs to the NYC_VF crew . Once again sorry I could not make it but glad you still had people meet you and had fun.

Without you keeping the torch lit, I'd hate to think where NYCvf would be today?

Guys no VF stream tomorrow at next level. Too many guys were busy with holiday stuff so I decided to cancel it. Look me up online though I might get some games on that tomorrow .

 

P.S guys from now on any post related to NYC_VF will be made here.

 

This upcoming Tuesday the 6th of January NYC_VF will be back and streaming from Next Level arcade in Brooklyn NY. Post here if you are a local and you are going to be making it out. We usually play from 6pm till closing time which is a little before midnight. If ya don't know our channel is www.twitch.tv/nyc_vf. We are fortunate to have VF 4 Final Tuned and also Virtua Fighter 5R, so if you are a local come down and play and if you're not please tune in.

 

Enough with the likes. How many of you assholes are gonna make it down?
