So the meet up sessions at NL are only on tuesdays? No chance of them ever happening on a saturday?

Drop on by! Even if you don't enter the tourney you will get to play and meet some local VF'ers.

 

I'm planning on playing casuals with you guys and learning a bit this saturday. Though I think that maybe now and again maybe we should have meetups twice a week.

 

Sup fellas. New to VF here. Looking to show up to sessions and support the NY scene for this game because I'm having too much fun playing this game even after getting horribly mauled. I hope to learn alot from you guys. I play Vanessa.

 

Come to next level on Saturday we'll going to have some out of towners coming for the tournament and plenty of casual play. Johoseph I'll be hanging around till closing for casuals after the tournament. Especially to get some salty runbacks

 

I'm not prepared at all but will be there to show some love and support for VF

So believe it or not my car was acting fucked today. And the check engine light came on. Needless to say I'm not too comfortable driving 3 hours there and back with a car that could break down without notice.

Not letting it deter me though. I've looked at amtrak trains to get me to Penn Station. And then I looked at buses and just.... wow that map is confusing.

Anyone know of buses that would work from Penn Station to Brooklyn or should I start looking for another method of travel?

 

I wouldn't touch the buses, I'd suggest finding a train near Penn and taking it to Next Level (there's a stop on the D 9th Avenue that's a few blocks away from there)

 

Tell me what time your train is getting in and I can pick you up in my car. PM me your cell.

 

Cool. That's the info I needed nanashi Those subway maps are confusing for someone who hasn't lived there haha.

Lol, no problem. You should see the maps from pre 2000s they were notorious for being impossible to figure out.

 

I never really had a problem with the maps. But I grew up with them . Always just made sense

 

How early would you guys come in for casuals tomorrow?

You just had to read the map key in the old version. I was actually confused when I first saw the new maps.
