J&L is the biggest store in the city to get import games. They're located on Elizabeth St right off of Canal. I'm pretty sure every NYC VF'er bought VSHG's from them when they were released.

They are also known to sell local games pre-launch (w/ jacked up prices).

LOL Shag. I had a spot in queens that I'd go to for picking up imports and getting stuff early back in the days when I cared about that kinda stuff. The coliseum near jamaica ave, but I digress.

I just use gamestop now a days, but I for the life of me can't find a damn tournament edition madcatz stick anywhere. Do you think J&L gaming would have one of those laying around still?

eh I've played Hori and I'mt not really in love with them. I used to use the madcatz tourny edition ver 2 b4 and loved it. I just ordered one online 5-11 days and I'll have my baby back. It's the exact same stick I used to have.

Just thought I'd drop this here. VF5 tourney in Philly on April 1st. Entry fee is kind of crazy but there's some grown ass men here that want to put up or shuttup. If you all want to come get it in we'll waive the venue fee. Lets do it!

(Plenty of time for casuals too + alcohol)

What time do you plan on finishing the VF tourney and would anyone be able to make runs to the train station for us NYers?

I'm still up in the air, but it is only a 15$ train ride one way which isn't too bad. I'd need to be able to get home at a reasonable hour though.

It will be done before that VF starts first. We may have a hotel joint saturday night for evening gaming specifically for traveling VF peeps if they want to crash and play the night before..
