I am going to finish my last exam today and moving to another dormitory on next monday. Therefore, I am likely to arrive at the town on next Tuesday or Wednesday. it depends on me.

it was good to see you guys. thank you rodney for letting me stay at your house. this always helps me so much. Also, thanks for people who came to rodney's house this weekend. I really appreciate it. I will try not to sleep as much as I did this week next time hehe.

It was fun playing VF with Yohsuke and Oioron again(Crazy El Blaze vs Kage fights, lol)I can't believe I got to beat Youske on my 5th try(YAY!)......Then came Jacky.... It was fun watching the movie with you guys, especially with Shag being drunk and ready to kill people for his biscuit(POPEYES IS OPEN SON!)Good times....

well, I still have a chance to visit you(I do not mean only NYC) in August. I have a two-week vacation, so I may visit around the US, or I am just around the NYC. it really depends on my feeling. smauf has to show up at rodneys house next time for sure.

There are several restaurants in Chinatown Yohsuke.

Out of the ones the NYCVF crew used to go that is somewhat famous is Joe's Shanghai for their soup dumplings (xiao long bao) which Smurf named the NYC thread after.

Joe's Shanghai in Chinatown is located at 9 Pell St.

Wow, nobody posted here in a good while. Everyone's still alright in NYC? What's good?

Anyway, since I'm here, I might as well share this story that happened to methe other week.
So I traveling the city a little bit applying to job training programs in and outside my area, and one of my sources led me to check out this one facilit at 125th st. I had no idea where 125th st was, but when I took the train and got there, wouldnt you know it!?
I ended up in Harlem!
Im from Queens and traveling to Harlem is way too far and way too expensive to going back and forth just for job training, you know?

Honestly, I never traveled out to Harlem before, so I was pretty new to the area. Still, I decided to walk around a bit near the Apollo Thatre and I had noticed how the strip I was on looked identical to Jamaica Ave, back in Queens.
Almost made me think for a second that I was back home.

Yeah.

I travel both to Harlem and Jamaica quite frequently. Those types of strips are common around urban NYC go to Fulton street in BK its much the same or Astoria in queens.

Hey guys, an old friend that I made from my Japan trip back in 2005 is coming to NYC next week and wants to meet up with anyone who is willing to show him around the city or house him for a little while to play some VF. His name is Kim and he may be on some of you guys facebook friends list. link to his facebook page He is a really nice guy, very laid back and super easy to get along with.

Can anyone help out and possible meet up with him and show him around for a little bit? Unfortunately for me I really won't have the time next week and doubt I will be able to house him for a little VF like I have for all others who visit NYC. It's just really bad timing for me and on top of that i will not be available from July 15th until 18th possibly 19th.

I'm gonna try and meet up with him early in the week for maybe a drink, but VF is out for me as I don't even have my Xbox360 anymore or the game.

Again please can anyone help out? Thanks!
