Hi Everyone,

I'll be in NYC on vacation from the 21st to 27th. I was wondering if anyone wanted to hang out and play some games. Are there any arcade VF5 machines anywhere in NYC? Or is it all on console at people's houses?

Yosuke: Remember me? This is Julien from Seattle -- I saw you posting in this thread. I wish I had learned VF5 from you when you were in Seattle. I am just now appreciating what a great game this is. Hey Julien, we played each other in pools (first match) at last years Evo in ST.

There are no VF5 machines in NYC. For offline matches we usually now meetup at Konjou's place.

I'm sure I can meet up with you at some point within your stay if Konjou isn't able to host.

Hey Shag! Thanks for the response. Were you the Balrog player where we had an incredibly close round (came down to 1 throw)? I definitely remember you!

I'd actually prefer to meet up online in person since I'm nowhere near the level of you guys and it's an easier environment to learn. It would be great to play you again and/or meet the famous Konjou Akira /forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif

free large popcorn coupon which expires on 4/16/09 is going around for Imax shows. If you guys give me the total amount of people attending I can print coupons for everyone. I already got 3 for me and my guests.

Actually I barely play the game. I bet I've only put about 2 hours into the game since I've had it which was like 4-5 days before the release. But sure we can play some time if you want. I warn you though I suck big time.


I guess I'll just print like 20 coupons and bring them.
