DubC, please realize that if you had said "something important to me," instead of "300 dollar glasses," you may have attracted less attention and not changed the message of your out-of-the-blue-<s>thread</s>-post-that-appears-to-exist-only-to-draw-attention-to-yourself-which-it-turns-out-you-seem-to-dislike-in-this-particular-case.

This is an "out-of-the-blue" thread? NorCal VF thread? This thread is about me and draws attention to me? I know when I see Virginia thread, or SoCal thread, or Ohio thread, I *generally* just straight ignore it. I don't bother reading because I know they are talking about their local gathering stuff. I assumed people did the same... I know these aren't private threads, but I assumed people treated them as region specific and for the most part only posted/read if they were in the region. Maybe once again, it's the same post-SoCal "DubC man of the hour, let's jump on his balls" syndrome that is going around... and I thought it was blowing over too.

Personally, I don't know any "something important to me" that would warrant me driving up to San Fransisco and back, doing nothing there... I was saving the *NORCAL* people from the follow up question: "WTF did you leave there that warranted you just rolling all the way out here and back". I was actually going to ask haunts if he could get it for me and hold onto it, but I didn't want to burden him by making him run around and find the restaurant, etc.

 

Maybe I'm just weird then.

The VA/Singapore thread is pretty hilarious at times, and Northwest is always good to read up on as Chanchai writes a lot of good ideas, etc.

Color me shocked... I haven't seen anyone ever post in our thread from outside of NorCal until I made that comment. If anything, Plague's initial response was "out-of-the-blue", like people are sitting there on my every word... geez.

Your glasses were that important (since you made the drive to get them). You could've saved NorCal asking "WTF?" by not mentioning the event. Think about it. Why did you actually post that at all? Posting for the hell of it, is, well, fine. It's very informative, too. I now know you own 300 dollar sunglasses. As does NorCal. I imagine that was why you told people - so they would know. Tonyfamilia was very happy to know. You are now his new hero. You've totally pwned me with your sunglasses, man. I can not possibly rate.

i can only host till like 8pm so we will have to get started early like 1pm.

 

Well I have to go around 4 PM anyway so starting at 1PM would be preferable.

I think I may try to learn Tekken 6 when it comes out. What do people call Hwoarang now?
