Ya... so I just drove up to San Fransisco for the first time yesterday because I left my sunglasses at this restaurant the previous night (300 dollar glasses, so I had no choice)... about 100 miles on my car, aka half of my tank (weak mileage), aka about 20 dollars worth of gas (by living across from work, I used to only fill up once every 3 weeks)... ya. You guys up there are just straight lucky.

 

Next time buy 299 dollar glasses - they come with at least one choice.

My room is small (Renzo/Steph would agree), only have space for 1 set up, max of 3 others can come (or fit). I'm open from 1-2ish p.m. until 10-11ish on Saturday.

If anyone is up to playing Ver. B on a hori, or can bring a 360 and 2 sticks: that'd be awesome.

Otherwise, it's the 26th at 001's (which will be canceled in 5, 4, 3, 2...).

WTF are you doing in the NorCal thread? Things I post here are for the NorCal people because we know each other and it isn't about ego. I don't mind discussing personal stuff. What did I even say that was boasting or bragging... just straight facts necessary for supporting my need to drive ALL THE WAY down to San Fransisco and stressing how far it is to just up and do. What would there even be to brag about. You know that we meet at Jay's place... in a million dollar house in the middle of one of the safest places in America? also, i may be hosting in the following weeks but i want to make sure my TV dosent lag... what are some moves I can test or any tests i can do on the TV for this?

 

There's no easy accurate way to test lag on a tv; you'd need something like videotape of a controller button w/ an led attached to it, to compare to when inputs showed up on the tv.

Subjective things you can do would be guitar hero's lag adjustment, or try out vf4 evo's hit checking exercises to see how much harder they are (will be worse lag than VF5 in either case).
