Hi again, for the first time! I'm GrandpaLoafers, previously from Chicago via Virginia, now living further north in Wisconsin. I FINALLY got Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown after missing the sale in March. I play a lot of 2D fighters and this is my first real foray into a 3D game. And I also got an Xbox Live subscription, so I'm available if anyone wants to spar and help me learn the finer techniques of VF!
I was playing VF5O (but not online) as Shun Di, and now I'm enjoying Goh in Final Showdown. I gotta get those customization packs!!

 

If you are willing to make the investment, those MadCatz FightSticks are really awesome! I got one last year and don't regret it at all.

I'm quite a veteran with Akira on the 360, anyway hi. Since the new generation is terrible, I'm planning to switch to PC building myself a fat gaming rig and I hope AM2 can release it there, but if that isn't possible then I will have to shell out for an Xbone

I know , but on the bright side I've had final showdown on 360 since the day of its release and I love it so much that I consider VF5 unplayable since I've adapted so well to it.

- howdy, folks. I've been playing FS since it arrived, yet reveered the series for its' technical depth since I first encountered it back in the 90s. I used to post on srk.com and still do. I main Pai Chan and my backup is Kagemaru. I want to use Lei Feng, but damn... lol I`here to learn more about competitive play, Yomi, and Virtua Fighter itself. The cartoon wasn't too bad minus how it ended in season one and season two is unwatchable for anyone who isn`t Mexican or Japanese.

Hello all, my name is Brett aka. Psychochronic, long time FG player since 2005, spanning from Super Turbo, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom and Marvel vs. Capcom 3. I play multiple fighters (7+) and balancing them all is a challenge.

Got the game during the Countdown to Christmas deal, I main Pai and hail from the Greater Toronto area. Hope to get in some sessions, I'm waiting until the VF5FS Circuit (SEASON 3) starts.
