VF2 was my first VF game, I always fans of VF series, but I never good at VF.

Hi everyone! I recently decided that I no longer wanted to enter SF4 tournaments to focus on KOF13. However, I still wanted to explore other games and have always had the utmost respect for Virtua Fighter. After speaking with Talis and Shidosha at SCR, I've decided to give VF5 my best scholarly effort. I plan to stream it from time to time as well!

I have had no significant prior Virtua Fighter experience. I remember one of my friends and i played 2 a lot on the Saturn, and one of my favorite arcades had 3, but I have never put any time into the game before.

Hey guys, I'm very glad to see alot of new people pop up to register for VFDC! Make yourselves at home on the boards, and be sure to jump in the shoutbox or character forums if you ever have specific questions

^ This. If you have a question post. Don't worry about your English, most of have been speaking it our whole lives so it we can manage!

Please do search before you post before making a new thread or just ask in the Shoutbox. Even long time members here don't do it, so don't feel bad. I'd recommend going back to page 2 or 3 even, in the dojo section. That's a really nice place with solid info. Also some character places don't have a lot of info like others but we can still answer questions, as long as its not "How do I beat your character".

    Dear everyone.

We would like to share useful piece information about VF5FS.

This movie descrives the cooperative effects of combos and attack on side-roll recovery (known as Oten-Ukemi in japanese).

The design of combinations (連繋) shown in the movie is characterized by the following 4 features:

    1. Guaranteed Attack on Side-roll Recovery
The active phase (持続) of the attack is consistent with either of the last 3 frames of side-roll recovery: Indicates a situation in which an attack cannot be evaded, and therefore is guaranteed to hit or block.

    2. Combinations (連繋, Renkei in japanese)
You win the fight by a few combinations on side-roll recovery. The total points of damage is over 221.

    3. Attack onto Side Face of the Opponent
The combinations (連繋,セットプレイ) involves an attacking onto the side face of your opponent at least one times.

    4. Finish Blow
The attacking combinations put an end to the exciting game by the special finish blow.

Everything in this movie was performed by hand operation without the use of "Tool-Assistance."

See the Supporting Information for details.

Academi-ya if you are doranekoakira thanks a lot, i always watched your clips altought i don't understand those with too many japanese on it.
If you'r not thanks anyway because you shared this.
Jacky's and Wolf's setups seems to be too much situational imho but Taka it's really cool :D
