Hello everyone,

I play a variety of games, Fighting and Shoot em ups are my favourites. I have played VF4.VF5 and have the rom on my psp for VF2 . I'm always impressed with the way VF continues to get better every time I get the newest version. I'm just an average player on Final Showdown, but I think I'll be learning more as I do some in depth reading on different characters. I main kage, add me or play me on psn dbbhr5, looking forward to some battles.

I love fighting games, but unfortunately, I have not much time for it. I like VF5FS because it has a clear and logical structure.
In contrast, for example, Tekken. Where it was difficult to understand, even in what direction to go. Of course, to understand this game, I'll be a long time, but I work at least to understand in which direction to move. Sufficiently clear and balanced, at first glance, system.
For such a beginner like me, it's pretty great advantages. True, it's hard to get used to the fact that any character can kick your ass.
In any case, even this is interesting
I hope to find here a lot of things that helped me to learn the game.

Hey people. Try as I might I've never been able to get into VF but I think that's finally changing with VF5FS. Eileen's pretty fun and I love the customization options.

Hi all, I'm Nik. If you play ranked on Xbox Live, you might have seen me around as NikBiodroid (though not for a little while now, as I'm home for the holidays). Jacky-playing scumbag, I know. If it's any consolation I've been doing so for years. Despite having played for a long time, I've only become non-atrocious with VF5:FS and I'm still not good by any stretch (regular punchbag for the higher ranks).

I've joined up mostly to develop my game as I'm struggling to get past certain weaknesses I have, the worst of which is having almost no ability to perform wall combos.

Hey, Not really all that new to VF. Started playing VF5 back near the end of 2011 until FS launched. Mainly I play DOA, but because of the community I want to switch to VF. I'm not giving DOA entirely because I do consider myself a supporter, but I like the mechanics in VF and the game design, so I want to support this game as well. I run DOATEC T.V and hopefully I can fuse VF with it and create something new. I sold my 360 saturday and switching to PSN

Hi, been playing vf off and on quite a few times in the past and i decided to take the game seriously recently. I've always played fighting games, first took sf3iii seriously (even though my first game was tekken 3), then it got pretty boring compared to tekken once i began to take that seriously a while later so i dropped sf.

While tekken is (and i think always will be) my favorite fighting game, i really want to play vf properly because of how deep the game gets, and because mishimastar dropped tekken for this (godlike Korean tekken player) so i figured i'll go and check it out.

The problem i've got is deciding which character to main.. i think Akira (he sounds similar to kazuya from tekken who i main there), pai (similar to xiaoyu from tekken?), lau (all rounder), lei (good mindgames to utilise with his flashy stuff) and vanessa (aggressive and defensive mix up style, and because mishimastar plays her) are all characters im considering. Can anyone help me out deciding who to play?

Also, the content available here for beginners is awesome, thank you to all the people who provide their support for us newbies

I've been playing VF occassionally since VF1, but VF2 was the one that got me really excited. I used to play a lot of Tekken2 on the playstation, since my friends didn't mind playing that. I got the Dreamcast solely for VF3 (and later Shenmue), and I got pretty good against the computer using Leon, but that got boring. Also dabbled in VF4, but no online meant I eventually quit.

Now I'm here trying to learn Akira and getting my butt kicked in style. Haven't had this much fun with VF since VF2 in the arcades.
